Hidden Treasure Tar Bay! "Der angesagte Ort"

Villa Marjorie befindet sich am Strand in Silver Beach, George Town, Exuma, Bahamas. Es wurde komplett umgebaut und modernisiert. Sie ist mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Badezimmer Strandhaus mit zentraler Klimaanlage, moderne Küche mit Edelstahl LG Geräte und Arbeitsflächen aus Granit und Wohnzimmer und Essbereich mit einem 42-Zoll-Flachbild-TV LG.

Jedes Zimmer verfügt über einen 32-Zoll-Flachbild-TV und ist schön mit dunklen Holzmöbeln eingerichtet und genießt einen unglaublichen Blick auf das glitzernde türkisfarbene Wasser. Alle Zimmer führen zum Strand durch ihre eigenen 8ft. Glas-Schiebe-Türen, die auf einer 10ft öffnen. von 37ft. überdachter Balkon, die buchstäblich nur ein paar Schritte zum Wasser. Villa Marjorie ist ein 8-minütige Autofahrt östlich von George Town International Airport und 12 Minuten westlich von der Innenstadt von George Town, Exuma

Amazing Stay!

We had a great stay at Villa Marjorie. The location of the home is wonderful for exploring both Great Exuma and Little Exuma. Not to mention having a beach right out the back door and a huge back porch to relax on when you are ready for some shade. Home is well stocked and even has beach chairs, a cooler etc. I’ve been a sales executive for a vacation rental property mgt company that manages over 30,000 homes and have worked with a lot of owners/local hosts and I have to say that Jena is one of the best! She’s accommodating, kind and very prompt with responses. We are looking forward to our next stay and can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful Stay

Wonderful stay - plan to return. Great home, very clean. RIGHT ON THE BEACH. Beach is very quiet, many times we were on our own. Easy drive to George Town. Exuma Point was a favorite spot and an easy drive. Was apprehensive on being on the main road, but at night it was very quiet. Not difficult to get out of the driveway (as someone complained). Comfy beds. Great spot.

You can’t beat this location for a vacation! House was very comfortable and clean. Right on the beach! Due to airline issues we missed most of our short getaway, only 2 nights and 1 full day. We already booked for next year. It had been a few years since we had gone to Exuma, this was our 5th trip.

Perfect Tar Bay Home

This property was perfect for our family of three. It is located centrally on the island and is easy to access anywhere you want to go around the island. The views are amazing from the living/dining/kitchen area and both bedrooms. I have nothing but great things to say about this property. Some of the best things about this home is that the refrigerator had a working ice maker and there were tons of extra ice trays filled upon our arrival. The water was hot with good water pressure. The beds were comfortable. There were great loungers with cushions to use on the beach there at the house plus there were portable beach chairs and a cooler and umbrella to take with you to the many beaches of Exuma. We will definitely stay here again if it available as it was great all the way around!

Great Anniversary trip

The house is excellent for 2 couples. We only were two people on this trip. Plenty of beach towels ( don’t pack your own) that are large and soft. The beds are good. We stayed in the master bedroom the first 2 nights but then went to the other bedroom with a queen bed that has a much softer mattress. The back sliding door from the living area is broken and does not lock. It took us a few days to discover there are safes in both bedrooms, however; the safes are not bolted to the floor…. So what’s the use?The grills are sketchy but one works and that’s all we needed. Bathroom in the master bathroom has loose tile on the step into the shower that breaks off. Be careful. The location is great for traveling the whole island. We would stay here again. Really had a wonderful time at this place. Just wanted to give a couple tips on things that need improvement.

This is my 2nd stay at Villa Marjorie, this time with 2 of my friends. The location is central and super convenient. The back porch and beach are the best part of the house. We spent each night on the porch enjoying the view, breeze and sounds of the waves. Exiting the driveway can be difficult to see so take caution.

Lovely house but the description was not accurate. There are NOT three bedrooms as listed and the third “bed” is a fold out couch that doesn’t even lay flat. Very disappointing. As this was a family vacation our teens were so uncomfortable on couch they needed to stay with family in a different Vrbo. No laundry soap provided and not enough toilet paper. There is no check in book to help navigate that property very disappointing again.

What a hidden little gem of a stay on Tar Bay. The view from all the windows is amazing and with the beach at your patio. Everything was provided for. Peaceful Paradise

The property was just as described and shown in the pictures. Best location to stay on the island in our opinion. It was just me and my husband. The floats and kayaks were a plus. Everything you need is there. Even reusable bags that you will need if you have to go to any store for groceries. Jena is an amazing host, and we are so thankful she shared her piece of paradise with us!

No doubt, the location of this home is excellent. The views are gorgeous. The swing off the tree is there and awesome. The bathrooms had great showers, water pressure so that was good. The very unfortunate downsides: The home is NOT a 3 bedroom. It's a 2 bedroom. The view included a tore up kayak rack that belonged to the neighbors. The 2nd bedroom had no dresser or anywhere to put luggage to live out for a week. All the floats provided were useless for ocean use. Two had holes in them. The kitchenware was nasty, old and useless. The grill needed maintenance so they came out and fixed it thank goodness. Although it's a 2-person grill and not suitable for a home of that size. We had a lovely time... but the house had many shortcomings. But for the price, you definitely get what you pay for. If we return to Exuma, we will not stay here again. Sorry to bash...but just being honest. (I saw one honest review before I booked and I wished I had listened to it.)

Another week in paradise!

This is was our second stay at Villa Majorie and it just gets better every visit . The host was always available and accommodating and was as usual a pleasure to speak with ! The description is exactly as promised . The best beach in the world in our opinion and the water … it’s almost like it’s not real … it’s the most turquoise in the island … we just relaxed outback in a picture perfect serene environment that makes you not want to ever leave ! Thank you again to the host and we can’t wait to get back !
