Entspannender Rückzugsort auf zwei Hektar mit Blick auf die Berge. Viel Platz im Freien für die Kinder zum Spielen. 1100 SF Wrap-Around-Deck mit Whirlpool, Gasgrill, Raucher und zwei Tischen und reichlich Sitzgelegenheiten. Schaukeln, Hufeisen, Krocket usw. im Hof.

Tolles Wandern, Radfahren und Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe im Golden Gate Canyon State Park, in der James Peak Wilderness, in der Indian Peaks Wilderness und im Roosevelt National Forest.

Tolles Wintergrundstück mit Eldora Mountain Resort, nur 23 km entfernt und weniger als eine Stunde vom Skigebiet Loveland entfernt. Die Skigebiete Winter Park und Summit County liegen ebenfalls etwa eine Stunde entfernt. Ausgezeichnetes Schneeschuhwandern und Skifahren auf dem South Boulder Creek Trail in der Nähe von Rollinsville. Sieben (7) Paar Schneeschuhe stehen im Haus zur Verfügung. Kehren Sie nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag im Schnee zu heißer Schokolade und dem Whirlpool zurück!

Sehr zentral in den Bergen mit Stadtaktivitäten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Denver, Golden, Boulder, Idaho Springs, Mount Evans, Evergreen usw. sind weniger als eine Stunde entfernt. Unterhaltsame und einfache Tagesausflüge zum Estes Park, zum Rocky Mountain National Park, zum Winter Park, nach Breckenridge, nach Leadville und zu vielen anderen Orten, die ungefähr eine Stunde entfernt liegen.

Nur 11 km von den Spiel- und Unterhaltungsangeboten von Black Hawk und Central City entfernt. Wenn Sie jedoch nicht daran interessiert sind, werden Sie nie wissen, dass es in der Nähe ist.

Beautiful Cabin and Location
The cabin was lovely. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the beautiful views. The only downfall for us was the floor heater in the master bedroom made a ticking noise about once an hour for 10 or 15 minutes all night. It did wake us up several times.

I really wanted to like this place. The upstairs was fine, however, the basement where the bedrooms are located smelled terrible, like there is a mold/mildew problem. It was so bad we could not sleep in the rooms and left early.

Lovely Mountain House
Our week stay at Mountain House was lovely. The home is well equipped and cared for. It had everything we needed to cook, be comfortable and relax, as well as ample info about the local area for food / hiking. Scott was great to work with - easy communication and he made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The porch is incredible, as beautiful as the house is you will be drawn to spend all of your time outside (in summer :) ) enjoying the fresh air and looking at the stars. The location was perfect for us - feel secluded but have multiple options within 30 mins for food / grocery / entertainment. There is also a small convenience store right on the main road that had basics when we didn’t feel like venturing into town. We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves back in Black Hawk. Thanks again, Scott, for sharing your beautiful home!

Perfect Family Cabin In The Mountains
This cabin is absolutely beautiful! My husband, sister, myself and our kids stayed here for a week to visit with the rest of our family out here in Colorado. The scenery is breathtaking! The cabin has everything you could possibly need. We grilled outside and cooked many of our meals right inside the fully stocked kitchen. Even with 3 teenagers and a 6 year-old we were all very comfortable and enjoyed our stay! There are many close amenities. A gas station nearby and Nederland has a grocery store, coffee shop and plenty of shops/cafes. Only a short drive from the cabin. Scott was a wonderful host with great/fast communication. We all agree we would love to stay here again. The cabin was very comfy and made us feel right at home... with much better views!

Mountain Getaway With Hot Tub! AH!!!
Scott was great to work with and answered all our questions. This location is amazing! So close to great trails and towns—even a huge new brewery is like five minutes away. But it is the house and the hot tub we will remember! Sitting on that huge deck or in that hot tub, chilling, re-connecting and more. If your family or friend group fits, try this charming log home with great views and all the needed amenities. You might find as we did, it was just what we needed!

Winter Wonderland Mountain Getaway
This mountain home was a lovely place for a reunion gathering with a couple of old friends. Weather in Denver was mild, but the snow began as soon as we got up the mountain, and it didn't stop all weekend! Absolutely beautiful, but we were happy to have an AWD rental vehicle. Pros: The hot tub is just as *amazing* as we'd hoped, and we stayed cozy with the wood stove while it snowed. Hosts had snow shovels, a couple of pairs of strap-on snow shoes, in addition to thoughtful amenities we couldn't use due to weather, like grilling equipment and a great dining setup on the deck (which has a nice view). No shortage of entertainment options for movies and music; solid WiFi (but no cell signal!). (Minor) Cons: While the upper level is gorgeous, with a ski lodge/log cabin vibe, the bedrooms are all in the basement, and it's cold down there. Each room has its own small, forced-air wall unit or baseboard radiator. These are mostly effective, but they make the air super dry and at least one was a little loud for sleeping (unless you're into white noise). Overall: Excellent, with a well-appointed kitchen. Be sure to buy the groceries you'll need while you're still near a town of decent size! (We paid $16 for a lb. of sugar and a bottle of honey at the convenience mart nearby!) This place is neat and comfortable; it's not "hotel clean," but it's as clean as the home of the last respectable family you stayed with. We loved our stay. Many thanks to the hosts for opening their home to us!

Love this place!
We absolutely loved our time here! We booked literally last minute. Communication was quick and check in/out was super easy. We had everything we needed plus some fun extras; like games! The only recommendation I would have is if you are coming during the winter grab a 4 wheel drive vehicle, the driveway is pretty steep. However, there are shovels and sand provided by the owners (but 4 wheel drive saves a little extra work lol) We would totally stay here again! Thanks for everything Scott

This was a perfect get away for us for for our ski weekend at eldora, the hot tub was amazing after a long day on the mountain, the house had a ton of cool features, the check in process was very easy and the house was very clean and stocked nicely. My only complaint
Nice place. Dryer venting was blocked so dryer would overheat. Called to get it fixed. I was asked to check the dryer vent outside and check the dryer connection to the dryer itself. I didnt like having to do a service call while i was on vacation. I thought the manager should have taken care of the issue instead of asking me to fix it.

Incredible Log Cabin Getaway!!!!!!
Wow! What an incredible gem we found in this log cabin in the mountains! We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the house, the quick communication of the property manager, and the beautiful views all around the house! The open concept of the living room, dining room, and kitchen was so great to be able to spend time with family while cooking. We enjoyed playing games (especially Awkward Family Photos, but there were so many to choose from), sitting in the hot tub every night gazing up at a million stars after hiking the mountains, and just relaxing with our family in the quiet neighborhood (never heard a neighbor). Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need plus spices and some condiments. Laundry had detergent and dryer sheets. Just everything you could want. We truly enjoyed our stay!! Thanks, Scott, for sharing your home with us and we hope to be back soon!

Decent cabin but needs TLC
The cabin overall was ok but I personally think it needs a freshen up. Maybe a little TLC. Here are some things I would like share The downstairs where the bedrooms are smelled of urine pretty bad. I did notify Scott and he had no idea of it, could have been a previous dog or maybe it was the mice. Because there’s mice poop all by the laundry area. The mouse/mice was a treat tho, cool little fella ate through the packaging of our foods. This little fella was extremely loud throughout the nights and I did notify Scott and he said he had issues with them earlier in the year and he would come out and set traps. I get it, it’s a mountain house, but as a host I would definitely try my best with that. Always have some hidden traps! Because us guest don’t want to deal with that while on vacation. Hot Tub was working and I’d say in good condition. The deck is nice but you should remove or replace the sharp jagged edged sheet metal by the grill that could easily cut someone pretty bad. Some of the deck furniture is completely trashed and not functional and all broken up. And makes me wonder why wasn’t it thrown away. The lawnscape is extremely tall and not cared for you cannot play games in the pictures because the lawn is way too tall. There’s huge weeds growing through the front stairs. Just overall bad taste. Blanket over the bathroom window is just bad taste. Duck taping the living room chair? Really? We spent over $500 a night. I feel ripped off honestly

Scott was very nice and very prompt if we needed anything. Nice cabin. We enjoyed the crochet course in the yard (was only able to do the first half as the grass was too long in the back). Cabin was clean. Layout of the cabin was a little different, and didn't have much bathroom space, but was doable. Was a little surprised of the Additional fees that very much increased the price per night. It states it sleeps 8, but there is a nightly fee for any persons over 4 people. Also, some Additional fees that were added. Overall is a nice place and Scott was great to work with.

Saved the day!
Scott literally saved our vacation. After a previous host canceled on the day were were supposed to arrive, Scott allowed us to reserve the house at the last minute. He helped us get into the house as quickly as possible, was tremendously communicative/responsive, and very attentive to our needs. He saved our vacation - and we ended up in a beautiful place that met all of our needs.

Mountain Retreat 2023
This property was just beautiful. The home was everything we needed and we loved the peaceful location. It provided a feeling of remoteness yet it is not far from Blackhawk, Central City and Nederland. We were able to take some great day hikes nearby as well. Highly recommend this beautiful mountain home.

Relaxing
We enjoyed the house, location was great. We had some issues with washing machine but figured it out, was disappointed the horse shoes & pits weren’t there but no biggie, t v was a nightmare at first but Scott helped us out & was fine after that. The only major problem was with cell service those of us with Verizon basically had nothing but again nothing we couldn’t work around. Overall, beautiful home & we’d stay again. Thanks Scott!
