„We found this beautiful property to stay with friends over the Comedy in the Vines weekend. We were absolutely delighted with the property and its amenities. Wonderfully clean and a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. The views are outstanding and the swimming pool a plus. The property manager was brilliant and very accommodating and swift to reply to any of our questions or requests. Thank you.“

„3 families stayed here for a long weekend. The weather was great for swimming in the pool (waist deep and unheated but warm enough), there were ample kitchen and glassware, comfy beds and the highlight was the fire pit which we used nightly. The playground was a bit tired, and you have to bring bottled water beyond 10L provided, but the house was still brilliant for kids and adults, and we’d happily stay again.“

„Fantastic Property, set in a rural location surrounded by trees and just 2 other cottages. So much space to spread out in a well set out modern 2 bedroom cottage. This property is so much better than staying in a motel and great for a couple, two couples or 3 individuals like we were. Great base for the Great Victorian Rail Trail that is what we were there for.“

„I arrived late after dark and the destination / address listed was not where my confirmation said - despite a new GPS in a new Ford Ranger then google maps on my phone - I simply could not find the place. Signage needs to be improved off the main road- I actually can’t say if the place actually exists! I wouldn’t mind a refund or a credit to stay another time. I had to drive 40 Km away to get into a motel to get to my son at Puckapunyal the next day for a March out. Really disappointed 😢“

„I have never stayed in such a well appointed house. All the appliances were in excellent condition and nothing was missing, we even had sharp knives which is very rare to find in a holiday rental. The house is very comfortable for a group travelling together and a great location for riding the Great Victorian Rail Trail. “

„Overall the place was nice for a tiny home. It was a bit disappointing that there was a property so close to the accomodation. This was not mentioned at the time of booking. I would also suggest to the owner to put the Jiffy fire lighters outside as the accomodation smelt like fuel when we arrived. Some of the electrics were not working as well. Be prepared to cut up all of your firewood into tiny slithers as that is all that you will manage to fit into the fireplace. All in all a pretty ...

„This accomodation is somewhat faded. Clean and comfortable beds and the heating is good (critical for a winter stay), but the pots/pans/stovetop in the kitchen needed better cleaning and towelrails were missing in the bathroom. Finding someone at reception was tricky too, and it would be good with a mobile number was on clear display at the front desk.“

„Do not recommend staying. Upon arriving at the property there was a lock on the gate (which the host had notified us about and had provided us with a code for). The code did not work despite multiple attempts. I called the host to ask for assistance. Due to poor reception it was difficult to hear, however, host was very impatient and rude. „I am always a little concerned about staying at motels, had some bad experiences. This was not one of them. Friendly staff, very clean rooms and just a nice place to kick back and chill. My only bit of feedback to management would be the cleaning smell in the room. It was a bit overpowering for most of the stay and we left the door open whenever there. But overall 5/5!“
