„The cabin was very clean, cozy and well kept. The ample sized open concept living area was perfect for hanging out with friends and playing games. „The only issue is the single washroom located at the 2nd floor. It would have been better if there is a powder room or another washroom at the main floor.Also, the vanity sink at the washroom is always clogging. But over all the place is good.“

„The location was beautiful, and peaceful. The only thing I can strongly suggest is bring lots of bug spray. Lounging by the lake, soaking in the hot tub , and drinks by the fire pit. From losing in scrabble. To walking the trails with my furbaby. It was a pleasant stay in a warm and cozy cottage. The weather was gorgeous for most of the stay. We absolutely hated leaving this gorgeous cottage with lots of greenery.“

„Amazing dock to sit on - kayaks to go out in - gorgeous views from every window - beautiful setting in that we had a lot of space to hang out inside and out. „Easy to find as it’s the first home just off the main road. That being said it can get a little noisy when the large trucks drive by. For the most part it didn’t bother us and you get used to it. Great lake for kayaking (not provided) we brought our own. The dock does have a ladder for easy access. We took our dog to the other end of the lake where it is shallow and has a sandy bottom. There are multiple hang-out spots for those who need a break or a change of scenery (two balconies, screened in porch/balcony, fire pit area). „Our stay was okay however the property was quite messy and differed greatly from the online listing. The listing said there would be things such as wifi and when we arrived we were told we had to bring our own wifi. This did not majorly impact our stay as we still had a good time however it was disappointing to not have amenities that were on the listing.“

„My wife and I (and 17 year old son) spent three wonderful days at this 'Rustic' cabin. The cabin was clean, quaint and exactly what one would expect from a 'rustic' cabin experience. The hosts Jason & Suzie were magnificent and went out of their way to ensure our trip was memorable. A very nice balance between relaxing on the property and adventures on the beautiful Westlemkoon Lake. We had a great time and look forward to returning.“

There were so many fishing spots close by, hunting was an option but we didn’t end up going, the hiking with my dog was so beautiful and even just walking around the property was so calming and pretty. We went into Madoc (25 minute drive that was also super scenic and pretty) to do local shopping and they had so many great little shops.
