Secret Hideaway by Tiny Away is located in the rural countryside of Glen Murray, just an hour's drive from Auckland. Every Sunday, the peace is momentarily stirred by the thrilling roar of sleek sports cars and classic motorbikes in Thundercross Valley Dirt Bike Track heading to the Naike Caves, adding a touch of excitement to this peaceful retreat.
On most days, the tiny home is surrounded by the calming sounds of nature, where native birds like cockatoos, wood pigeons, and kingfishers glide gracefully through the surroundings. Enjoy a relaxing stroll along the historic Waikaretu Valley Road, where you can take in stunning views and watch a spectacular sunset from a scenic overlook.
What's more, we're only 32 minutes from Pokeno, a haven of lush green landscapes. Enjoy the serene beauty of Pokeno Waterfall, a peaceful retreat amidst nature, or explore the Mount William Walkway, a scenic trail that offers stunning views and a hint of adventure.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, but access to the private homes and sheds on the property is restricted.
In the orchard, enjoy picking from a range of delectable fruits, such as apples, peaches, nashi pears, tamarillos, oranges, sweet grapefruits, plums, and more.

- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests
- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival
- Please be advised that we have free-roaming farm animals (and potential noise) on our property
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
