Lakeside Oasis in the Catskills, Sleeps 8

Experience the ultimate in relaxation and rejuvenation at our charming vacation home in Upper Delaware. Completely renovated in 2021, this spacious ranch has the perfect setting for gatherings and entertaining with enough space across 2 levels for even those in the largest group to secure a quiet moment. Relax and recharge in this serene oasis with its cozy fireplace, unwind on the huge deck overlooking the yard, grab the raft or kayak or paddle and soak in the breathtaking views of the water.

Newly renovated in the summer of 2021, this contemporary ranch sits on an acre of private land in the Catskills region, mins away from the Delaware River Gap. Overlooking a private lake, you can hear the peaceful sounds of birds while watching deer and rabbits from the spacious deck. This home was inspired with family in mind while also being sustainable and green. Including solar panels, central air and heating to adjust to your comfort; all new stainless steel appliances, a spa-like en suite bathroom, chef’s kitchen including a pot-filler and double sink. Family room includes a wood burning fireplace, library and boardgames. Lower level includes remote working space, gym, pool table/table tennis, darts, theater, bathroom and laundry room. Outside amenities include firepit, paddle board, kayak, and raft. There is also a fishing rod to be used on our dock or any of the nearby fishing spots.

On an acre of land is a newly built firepit with adirondack chairs and wooden benches with seating for the entire family to relax and maybe roast marshmallows. We do provide firewood. You may choose to listen to the birds on the deck or watch deer or rabbits on the property. There is also a grill, a hammock and extra seating at the table and bench on the lower level of the deck. If you choose to sip on a glass of wine at night, there is plenty of soft lighting illuminating the property.

Walking into Zac Rental, you will find 3 bedrooms and 3 bath, one being a spa-like en suite. Cloud-like mattresses and duvet covers make it very difficult getting out of bed. The master bedroom also has a crib for little ones (please bring your own crib sheet) as well as a sofa. All bedrooms look out on to the lake.

Leading out the master bedroom is the family room with a wood burning fireplace, perfect for those cozy wintry nights. There is also a library with plenty of titles for you, your teenager or even your very little ones. Family games include Monopoly and Chess. You may also choose to adjust the central air or heating for your comfort in this room.

The chef’s kitchen is stocked with all cooking essentials, from pots/pans, utensils but also seasoning or pick your own herbs from the back. There is a pot-filler above the Samsung smart cooktop (bread proof, air fry, roasting, etc.) along with double sinks. The coffee station includes an espresso maker, steamer for your milk preference or use the conventional coffee pot. The large island includes 2 stools, its own sink and a boiling water faucet. The dining room seats up to 8 with a bar to the side. There is also a work station by the windows, which lets in plenty of natural light.

Leading down to the lower floor, you will find open floor plan with theater room with a 60in. ROKU TV, the gym with another ROKU TV, the game room with pool/ping-pong and a dart board, and a remote work space including a printer for your convenience.
