„Our stay in the cabin was great. Easy check-in/out, and the owner was super quick to respond. Upon arrival everything was clean and ready for us, to include plenty of amenities such as coffee, snacks, teas, condiments, cooking & dining ware, etc. The area was quiet and easy to access, plus it was close to town but still felt private“

„Leider haben wir dort nur eine Nacht verbracht. Ein super schönes und großes Blockhaus abseits der Zivilisation. Wer die absolute Ruhe sucht, ist hier bestens untergebracht. Es fehlt an nichts. Grillplatz, modern ausgestattete Küche sowie sehr bequeme Betten im Obergeschoss. Architektonisch sehr funktional und modern eingerichtet mit Liebe zum Detail. Das nächste Restaurant ist allerdings ist 8 km entfernt. Im General Store gibt es sehr leckere Burger.“

„Quiet, clean, well furnished cabin. It is only 10 minutes from the main part of Wasilla making it extra convenient as we were driving back and forth for a skating competition. The small extras and full size washer and dryer were definitely a plus when traveling with kids.“

„Imagine arriving at a magical treehouse light up and surrounded by trees, absolutely breathtaking. John & Cheri went above and beyond to make us feel so welcomed. They had a fire going so we could enjoy s'mores, which were individually packaged! 😍 Then you enter a beautifully built three story treehouse to pleasantly find all sorts of goodies and amenities. „The underwear hanging on the back of the bathroom door was the first thing about the place I noticed, as I headed straight to the bathroom on arrival. That kind of freaked me out. Not many towels (,kitchen or bath) available. A lot of dog poopthe in the yard from a previous renter. We did clean it all up. The house was comfortable.“

„18 of my family were able to come with us to Alaska for my son's wedding, which was at a church just a few miles away. Everyone had a bed! Master bedroom/bath was perfect for my dad who is 96yr. The combination of queen beds and twin beds was great for the family with little kids and also so the cousins could share a room. Two houses was nice for when the active kids wanted to be in the back house. Both the kids and the parents enjoyed the hot tub. Excellent kitchen space for preparing our ...

„Everything about our stay came together so perfectly and this place was a huge part of it! Room for everyone, all the things we needed, it felt like a home away from home. Love that you allow a dog. Our 6-7mo old puppy enjoyed his stay too and hopefully didn’t leave too much of his hair around. “

„This beautiful home was perfect for our visit to Anchorage. It didn’t feel like we were in the city, it was in a very nice neighborhood. This property is exactly as stated, very clean, and most of all very comfortable.Our granddaughter was competing at the 3A State basketball level. After sitting in a gym all day, it was nice to come home.I would highly recommend this home to all my friends.“

OK, wenn man tiefe Ansprüche hat

"Es war ja nur für eine Nacht. Bereits das Einchecken dauerte sehr lange, obwohl sich gleich 3 Personen darum gekümmert haben. Dies aber entweder wenig motiviert oder wenig talentiert. Das Zimmer war soweit OK, das Bett sogar bequem. Leider ist der lichtundurchlässige Vorhang jedoch nicht gross genug für das ganze Fenster. Und die Sonne scheint in Alaska Ende Juni sehr lang! Bereits früh am Morgen lärmen die Züge unweit des Hotels, vielleicht wäre die Strassenseite ruhiger. Das Frühstück: eine Kanne Kaffee im Hoteleingang. "
