The Space:
JBJK Homestead by Tiny Away is located in the farming locality of Gobur, a snug countryside retreat with a nearby creek, a shed with water and power, and a donkey paddock near our cows and calves. You can wander along the neighboring creek. Where platypuses swim, and up to the back paddock watch the kangaroos graze around the area.
It has easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers) for you to use.
If you plan to spend your tiny house Victoria getaway here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that there will be farm animals and agricultural noise on the property during your stay. If you're interested in visiting our farm, you are always welcome to participate during feeding time. In addition, we would like to inform guests that this is a 113-square-foot tiny house devoted to sustainable living
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surroundings, including the tennis courts, pool, and spa. You can also come to visit our garden, where you'll be able to see abundant birdlife and admire our well-grown foliage. Or, visit our donkey "Charlie" who loves being brushed and fed special treat carrots!

JBJK Homestead by Tiny Away is located in a small farming area in Gobur, where you can explore and have wonderful adventures on the Great Victorian Rail Trail and more.

By car:
- 10 mins to Yarck
- 20 mins drive to Alexandra
- 2 hr drive from Bendigo
- 7.5 hrs drive from Sydney
- 1 hr drive from Shepparton
- 2 hrs drive from Melbourne
By public transport: Bus form V-line Melbourne to Yarck. From there, we can arrange a pick up you, just call 24 hrs before arrival to make arrangements.
Other Things to Note:
- Quiet hours 10 pm-7 am
- No smoking allowed on the property
- Telstra and Optus have good mobile reception
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- We have farm animals and noise on the property
- Feeding farm animals is available upon prior arrangement
- Composting and recycling bins are provided to dispose of trash
- Charlie our donkey-loves carrots; feeding is upon prior arrangement with host
- A pool and spa are available upon prior request by guests (use is free of charge)
Important note:
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that outdoor fire pit is not available during a total fire ban
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
