The Blaeberry Base Cabin W/ Sauna + Mountain Views

Relax, recharge, and launch from The Blaeberry Base to crush all your mountain adventures! Nestled on 3 forested acres in the heart of The Blaeberry Valley, this rustic cabin has all the amenities you need to fuel your journey through the Canadian Rockies. An outdoor cedar steam sauna, jagged mountain views, quality bedding, and an entirely cozy vibe complete with an electric fireplace await you.

The space:
10 Minutes from Golden, we are in the heart of it all. Surrounded by 6 of Canada’s most beautiful national parks : Yoho, Glacier, Banff, Jasper, Kootenay, and Mt. Revelstoke, use the Blaeberry as your base from which to experience the breathtaking scenery, iconic hiking, waterfalls, world class peaks and much more.

Get cozy inside with a double bed, an elaborate kitchenette, full bathroom supplied with locally made, eco friendly soaps, a sofa and coffee table just beneath the fireplace. We keep the kitchenette stocked with our favourite local coffee beans, a variety of olive oils, and seasonings and along with all the basic pots, pans, hot plate, silverware, bottle openers, wine glasses, mugs and more!

This is a truly eco friendly space. The cabin uses a grey water system, so chemical free Eco friendly bathroom products are provided.

Outside the cabin, there is a BBQ area, picnic table, fire pit and lounging area with a hammock to hang out.

The Blaeberry Base is a communal property, hosting other guests year round. You have a private cabin suite and outdoor area. The yard, sauna and parking area is shared for all to enjoy.

The Blaeberry Base is ready to host your retreat and spend time with others in nature.

Guest access:
You'll have access to the entire guesthouse, which includes the car port, fire pit & lounging area. The cedar sauna is a separate building located directly east of the guesthouse with a sign on the door. Feel free to roam our property, just give a little space and privacy to guests in the vintage trailer and the geodone.
You can also meet our cat, Princess, or our other 3 kittens Pablo, Timone and Pumba!

Other things to note:
All soap used must be natural and biodegradable for the grey water system. All natural, quality local soaps are provided by Apple Island Naturals.

Wood available on site for 10$. Cash or etransfer accepted.
