Das Hauptschlafzimmer hat doppelt hohe Decken mit sichtbaren Holzbalken und antiken Möbeln.
Eine separate Treppe führt zum Zwischengeschoss mit einem Einzelbett. Ziehen Sie auch das Sofa im Wohnzimmer heraus. 2. Schlafzimmer führt aus der Küche
Der offene Wohnraum mit doppelter Deckenhöhe enthält eine Einbauküche sowie einen Ess- und gemütlichen Wohnbereich mit Holzofen. Küchengeräte gehören Waschmaschine, Gasherd, Mikrowelle, Kühl / Gefrierkombination, Wasserkocher, Toaster
UK Sat-TV und DVD-Player im Wohnbereich.
Alle Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden gestellt. Poolhandtücher auf Anfrage erhältlich
Das moderne Duschbad ist komplett mit begehbarer Massagedusche gefliest.
Von diesem Raum führt eine Treppe zum privaten Garten / Patio, der hauptsächlich mit altem Baumbestand begrünt ist.

Urlaub in Le Guichard hat viel zu bieten, egal ob Sie einen aktiven Urlaub planen oder einfach nur die friedliche Atmosphäre genießen möchten, während Sie am schönen beheizten Pool und in der Innensauna entspannen. Es ist ein großartiger Ort für Familien, Freunde und Paare. Das Papillon befindet sich auf einem 9 Hektar großen Grundstück mit üppigen Gärten, Weideland und eigenen Wäldern, zu denen auch eine Seilrutsche innerhalb der Bäume gehört, die von einer wunderschönen Landschaft umgeben sind. Komfortable Möbel werden mit modernen, aktualisierten Einrichtungen kombiniert. Eine helle und geräumige Scheune mit Eichenbalken und freiliegenden Steinmauern mit Kamin und Holzofen. Perfekt für einen romantischen Rückzugsort. Papillon ist ideal gelegen, wenn Sie sich für Wandern, Radfahren, Kanufahren, historische Architektur oder ein Spaziergang durch die vielen lokalen Märkte interessieren oder einfach nur am schönen beheizten Pool entspannen und gutes Essen und guten Wein genießen möchten. Es gibt auch ein Café / Bar nur 2 km entfernt. Ein schöner Spaziergang durch den Wald bringt Sie ins Dorf oder eine 5-minütige Radtour. Wir haben auch viele Spiele im Freien, um die Kinder zu beschäftigen, wie eine Seilrutsche in unserem Wald für die Kinder, Trampolin, Tischtennis, Tischfußball, Billardtisch für die Kinder. Viel zu tun, um sie zu beschäftigen. Hochstuhl und Kinderbett sind ebenfalls vorhanden.

Perfect tranquility !
If you are looking for peace and tranquility, this little cottage has everything you need for a wonderful holiday - the photos do not do it justice. Papillon is perfect for a couple - but also has a good sized 2nd (twin ) bedroom and single mezzanine - allowing sleeping for up to 5. It is adequately equipped with the benefit of UK TV and good WiFi The pool is fabulous and the views breathtaking! Craig and Lizette are wonderful hosts and always on hand to recommend restaurants , places to go etc - always helpful when you’re not familiar with an area. We had the most wonderful time; would love to return . We recommend without hesitation.

Getting away from it all
Nicely converted old farm building, 2 spacious bedrooms for 4 people, with additional single bedroom in mezzanine area (although access is a bit tricky - v narrow steep stairs). Sufficiently equipped kitchen area, despite being a bit small. Lizette is a friendly and welcoming host with many recommendations for visiting the area and eating out. Very pleasant, good-size pool shared with next-door holiday rental, along with other fantastic facilities for all the family : pingpong, badminton, pool table, trampoline and zipwire. Made the most of all this and also enjoyed visiting the area - Brantome, Perigueux, Grotte de Villars, Bourdeilles, Etang de la Jemaye ... you do have to travel quite a bit as local amenities are limited although we highly recommend the bakery in Montagrier @ 5 Km. Animal-lovers can also appreciate the company of the dogs, cats and horses. Thanks for everything, Lizette and Craig

Lovely property, secluded and in a beautiful environment,
We had a great start of our holidays here. Enjoying the lovely environment and relaxing at the pool gave us a a well deserved rest. You can easily explore the countryside and surroundig villages like Brantome, Riberac and Perigeux. Liz and Craig were very friendly hosts and gave us good suggestions for things to do and restaurants to go to.

Relaxing peaceful holiday
This was our first time in the area although we have been in rural France many times. We were lucky being off season the other property was empty so we had the pool area to ourselves. Lizette is a wonderful host, on hand if you need something, but leaves you to it if want to relax. The weather was kind so we went walking every day, there are so many walks in easy reach. Coming back for a swim in the heated pool was fabulous. Our dog made firm friends with Poppy the resident Jack Russell and they spent ages playing together. We would definitely recommend staying here if it's a rural holiday you want.

Superb family holiday
We had a fantastic week in Grand Brassac. The location was great, peaceful and rural but close enough to interesting places nearby to visit. (We visited caves, a lake and went canoeing in Brantome.) Lizette was a wonderful host, welcoming and very helpful. The gite had everything we needed and the facilities, pool, zip wire, table tennis pool table bikes etc were perfect for our family (children aged 10 and 13). Many thanks!

Great stay - fantastic location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Grand Brassac. The property was very clean and tidy and Lizette and Craig were excellent hosts and always available when needed. The facilities on site (pool, zip wire, table tennis, bikes etc.) were a real plus as there was always something to do on rest days. The nearby canoeing and horse riding (detailed in the property information provided) were both excellent and good value for money. The local area is very beautiful with lots of interesting villages and small towns to visit.

lovely property, peaceful and a great place to use as a base
Easy to find a few km from Great Brassac. Cosy and as season changing (late Oct 16)the property featured a lovely log burner to keep off the chill. Loved the welcome pack which was a nice surprise and very helpful as arrived on a sunday when all shops shut. Yummy homemade cherry jam quickly got used. Owner very helpful and gave us lots of ideas of local places to visit. We were house hunting so didn't spend that much time sightseeing but did visit Brantome which was is a must. This property has British TV which was great to catch up on the news etc. Would highly recommend this property.

great service provided, quality accomodation and a wonderful place to stay
We booked the accommodation quite late, having tried to book a couple of other places a bit further south and then having to wait almost a whole day for e-mail replies. This however was different Lizette the owner replied back in 30 mins confirming booking request and provided contact details for any queries. We arrived at the property on the Saturday and she was on hand straight away to welcome us, explain how everything worked, talked through all the facilities etc. The property itself was clean, well maintained, and even better than the description on the website! The 2 bedrooms were much bigger than they looked online and were well furnished with loads of hangers (not always the case) the kitchen / lounge /diner was well laid out, a flat screen TV, DVD player and CD system were all provided. The mezzanine bedroom (off the lounge) would be great for a small child, although our 10 year olds used it as a reading room! and the private garden was larger than it looked in the pictures, at the rear of the property so nice and quiet with views over neighbouring fields. Also as the house was built into a slope parts of the rooms are beneath ground level meant it was nice and cool even with 36 degree temperatures. Lizette thoughtfully provided a welcome pack of bread, homemade jam and wine. there were plenty of bikes to borrow (and helmets), the pool and surrounding area was great, plenty of sunbeds for all as well as seating areas to read a book and umbrellas for shade. Also a number of inflatables for the pool were thoughtfully available. the Zipwire was great fun - Craig provided instruction on the Sunday how to use it and our girls were on it practically every day. They also loved the dog Jacko the 2 cats and the 3 horses. A comprehensive visitor guide to the area had been created by Lizette and she was happy to help with restaurant bookings etc. and provide any advice. Although in a lovely quiet area the place is well located for many local attractions, Brantome, Aubeterre, Riberac etc. all within about 30 mins drive on lovely quiet roads. Overall a great property run by someone who puts effort into providing a quality experience. I normally always mention at least something that can be improved, had to rack my brains but the only thing I could think of was bigger wine glasses, the 175ml ones meant going down into the kitchen to get the white out of the fridge more frequent! Had a great time and hope to return in the future

Fabulous French Getaway
We have recently returned from a 2 week stay at Le Guichard and had a fabulous time. We have two boys aged 9 and 6 and there was plenty to keep them occupied whether it was making the most of the zip wire, archery or pool table but mostly splashing around in the pool with the friends that they'd made with families staying at the other 2 properties. We stayed in Papillon and found the accommodation very charming, decorated in a typically French gite style. The bedrooms and private garden are a great size although next time I might be tempted to book one of the others (which I also had a sneaky peak around in) as the living space and kitchens were larger. The local area is truly stunning with fields and fields of sunflowers all around you and the rural location makes it a great spot for star-gazing and woodland walks. I would also highly recommend trips to Lisle, Lac Jamaye and Brantome, well worth the drive (sat-nav essential!)
