Bleib bei Moose! Blockhaus in der Nähe von RMNP / Columbine Lake

Unser Blockhaus hat eine große private Lage, eingebettet in Espenhain nur wenige Minuten vom Grand Lake. Wir sind nur wenige Schritte entfernt von Columbine See, einem privaten 45 Morgen natürlichen See etwas außerhalb Rocky Mountain National Park. Dies ist der perfekte Ort für einen Familienurlaub, romantisches Wochenende oder Wiedersehen mit Freunden. Unser Standort sichert private bewaldete Flächen auf, so dass für viel Privatsphäre und eine Vielzahl von Tieren in der Nähe der Kabine einschließlich Elch, Hirsch, Fuchs und Elch zu kommen. Wir sind mit den Nachbarn nur auf einer Seite an einer Sackgasse. Rocky Mountain National Park liegt nur 1 Meile entfernt und das Dorf von Grand Lake ist nur ein paar Minuten Fahrt.

Das Innere der Kabine bietet einen offenen Grundriss mit gewölbten Decken in den großen Raum. Natürliche Protokollbalken stützen die obere Etage und ein Protokoll Geländer folgt die Treppe hinauf und über den Dachboden, es dass rustikale Note. Im Erdgeschoss ist das zweite Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, Bad mit Dusche und Waschmaschine, voll ausgestattete Küche, Essbereich, große Zimmer und eine Bar. Im Obergeschoss finden Sie eine Badewanne mit Dusche / Badewanne, großes Schlafzimmer mit einem Kingsize-Bett log und zwei Etagenbetten, und dem Dachboden mit einem Rollbett finden, das als drittes Schlafzimmer dient. Das Loft bietet Privatsphäre vom Rest der Kabine und öffnet zum Balkon außen auf.

Am Abend haben ein Feuer in der Feuerstelle außen und den Blick in die Sterne da oben. Rustikales Block Bänke umgeben die Feuerstelle zusammen mit Adirondack Chairs. Bitte beachten Sie, dass Brennholz möglicherweise nicht in der Hütte verfügbar ist und in der Stadt erworben werden kann. Wenn Sie vorhaben, Ihren Hund mitzubringen, werden gut erzogene Haustiere berücksichtigt und eine Haustiergebühr würde auf Ihre Reservierung angewendet, wenn genehmigt.

Grand Lake ist ein ganzjähriges Reiseziel. Während des Sommers genießen Sie eine Bootsfahrt auf die 3 Seen (Grand Lake, Schatten Mountain Lake und Lake Granby), Wandern, Mountainbiken, Geländefahrzeuge, 4. Juli Feuerwerk, und die Liste geht weiter. In den Wintermonaten ist dieser Bereich der Motorschlitten Hauptstadt von Colorado mit mehr als 100 Meilen von präparierten Loipen. Skifahren Auswahl gibt es reichlich zwischen Ski Granby Ranch in der Nähe, Winter Park und dem legendären Champagne Powder von Steamboat Springs. Vielleicht die größte Jahr Auslosung der Gegend ist Rocky Mountain National Park mit ihr atemberaubende Landschaft und reiche Tierwelt.

Amazing getaway
Scott’s cabin was PERFECT! The weather turned on us and the snow was so beautiful! The wood stove kept us perfectly warm! When Berthoud Pass was closed down the day we were to leave, Scott graciously allowed us to stay one more night! Although we didn’t see any Moose this time, we’re already making plans to come back!

Wonderful stay at Columbine Lake cabin!
We thoroughly enjoyed our wintertime stay at this cozy cabin, including skiing at Winter Park, exploring Grand Lake village, and snowshoeing in RMNP. The cabin is perfect - beautiful setting, clean, spacious, and great amenities. It had everything we needed. Communication with Scott was great as well. 5 stars all around!

A Quiet Paradise
The Hanging with Moose Cabin is absolute Heaven, it was our first time to the Grand Lake area looking for a quieter side of the mountain, we normally stay in Estes Park every year but it's so busy and over crowded. Grand Lake is so much more laid back and relaxing. This Cabin is nestled in a private community that is so quiet and beautiful with nice and friendly neighbors. The Cabin has every thing you could possibly need and more and it's so cozy and comfortable and very easy access to RMNP, there is even a walking path into the Park not far from the Cabin. We took many walks around the private lake. The Host communicates with you often which is a very special touch, I think that is due to him actually owning the property unlike other VRBO's I have rented are managed by a Management team. This Cabin would be perfect for a Family with children with all the extra added touches that is geared towards children. You are so close to the Park a timed entry is not really needed cause getting into the Park before 9 with no lines is so doable. Just a small tip if you stay in this Cabin stock up on provisions in Granby at the City Market there are 2 markets in Grand Lake but very very pricey, I am all for supporting local businesses but not at those prices. Restaurants in Town are the same so we stocked up on groceries and cooked our meals. We did have an awesome meal at the Sagebrush, service and food was excellent but a meal for 3 was over $127. The Cabin was Amazing!!!!

Great cabin in great location
The cabin is in a serene location with lots of birdwatching and wildlife in the area. Beautiful walks around Lake Columbine! RMNP is just around the corner! The cabin was very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen. There were plenty of pots and pans to cook or bake about anything you want. The owner is very responsive and shared good info about the area including grocery store options. Also the king size bed in the master BR upstairs was very comfortable.

Beautiful surroundings; abundance of wildlife and excellent stargazing from upper balcony and driveway. Something about this property is so tranquil. You can feel your heart rate and breathing slow down. The cabin is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We have stretched our annual stay to 10 days because this place is so accommodating. Accessibility for wheelchair is a bonus.

The moose were out!!!
What a great place to stay, within easy driving distance to RMNP, Grand Lake, Granby, etc. We saw cow moose and calves several times during our stay including one day when the cow bedded down in our yard (doesn't get much better than that!!!). Evening drives up the Kewaunechee Valley yielded elk and moose in large numbers. Scott was incredibly responsive and helpful, made our stay very comfortable.

Spectacular stay!
The location was perfect, just a short distance from all the fun and activities the area has to offer. Whether it was hiking, boating, or exploring the charming town, everything was easily accessible. The cabin's layout was incredibly family-friendly, providing plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. The kids loved having their own area to play, and the open-plan living space made it easy for us all to spend quality time together. Communication with the property manager, Scott, was excellent. He was always quick to respond and provided helpful information about the cabin. His attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the stunning views of moose roaming the property. It was a unique and unforgettable experience to watch these majestic animals in their natural habitat from the comfort of our cabin. Overall, our stay was fantastic, and we would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a perfect getaway near Grand Lake.

Easter in Grand Lake
We enjoyed the cabin and it provided well for all of us. We were able to seat 9 people around the dining room table and the kitchen was stocked with table wear and pots and pans. The cabin is located in a charming neighborhood and my husband and I enjoyed several walks around the lake. The golf course next door provided for some Nordic skiing and free sledding for the grandkids. Everyone enjoyed staying at the cabin.

Christmas in the Rockies
The cabin was situated in a mountain neighborhood, but if felt like we were in the middle of the woods all by ourselves. When we arrived the cabin looked like Christmas as it had recently snowed and when we entered we were greeted with a beautiful open concept cabin which was even decorated for the Holiday. We made a several meals, watched football and played games during our stay and it was so peaceful. We want to visit this cabin again!!!

A perfectly relaxing and cozy cabin in the woods! Our family of 7 plus 2 dogs were very comfortable and well taken care of during our 4 night stay. Our Thanksgiving feast was easily prepared with all of the kitchen necessities available. We enjoyed a short walk to Columbine Lake and a brisk walk around the neighborhood with breathtaking views all around! Conveniently located just a short drive to Grand Lake Village to partake in all that it has to offer was also very nice. Waking up to fresh snow was a treat and added to the enjoyment of a crackling fire. Each room was comfortable and provided exactly what we needed to get some rest for a new day. Great location!
Right outside the park! As we arrived we heard elk bugling. We went early morning and evening to the park to see the wildlife and it couldn’t be more convenient. The home is well stocked with all necessities. We especially enjoyed all the extra kitchen utensils so we could prepare full meals. We also appreciated Scott checking on us during the week. Definitely recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to experience the park on the quiet side!

Perfect Stay in Grand Lake
This cabin provided the perfect place to stay for our visit to the west side of RMNP. Its location was only a mile to the national park entrance and also to the town of Grand Lake. The cabin was very spacious, clean and felt like a true mountain home away from home for our family. We loved the quiet neighborhood and took walks around Columbine Lake and on the other trails close by. Scott was very accommodating and ensured we had everything we needed at check in and during our stay. Overall, it was a perfect visit to Grand Lake. We would highly recommend Scott's property and hope to visit again ourselves!

This place exceeded our expectations! We had plenty of space for two families, including three very active boys ages 1 to 7. There were toys and games, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and lots of space to cook, eat and hang out, both indoors and outside. The fire pit was a huge hit! Our favorite part was how private and remote the place felt yet it was just a couple minutes from town. Host communication was excellent and we will definitely recommend to others looking for a nice getaway in the area.
