„We had a great time in the Grand Marais and Upper Peninsula area. Given our hosts location we were able to cover a lot of territory, from Tequamenon Falls to Munising, with golf at the Newberry Country Club (very nice course). Our only problem was backing out of the host parking area, which emptied into the street quickly and almost blindly. But the residence was very comfortable and clean. “

„Munising is beautiful and quiet and the apartment was conveniently located so we could walk to all the restaurants and the Marina where our pictured rocks boat tour was. The apartment was above Earl E. Byrds restaurant. We did not hear a thing from the restaurant below! The place was spacious and so comfy. Ana was wonderful with getting the AC fixed so quickly! Wish it had another bathroom but other than that we would stay again!“

„The listing and pictures are accurate. The apartment was very clean and a nice supply of linens. It’s in a great location which is close/walking distance to restaurants, etc. The only suggestion would be to furnish bath soap or gel. The amenities said soap so I assumed bath soap. The living room did get a little warm without an air conditioner. I turned on the portable air conditioners and fans and that helped. Overall, a good clean place to stay and great location. “

„We loved it! It was a bit smaller than all six of us are used to with only one bathroom and two bedrooms but we made it work. The only complaint I have is that there were 6 of us and only 4 bowls - so cereal in the morning was a problem and ice cream at night! Other than that it was very clean and felt like home. „Great location to waterfalls, pictured rocks and all other U.P. locations. Place was very inviting, clean and fun. It had all the needed amenities and some special kindness. Hot tub was a great addition and located right out back. Laundry room was a bonus. Just a wonderful place to stay when visiting the U.P. Will definitely visit again.“

„This is our second time staying in "Big Red". We felt so much at home the second we opened the door. My 89 yr old mother absolutely loves the house. She has the biggest bedroom and a bathroom that is handicapped accessible. She was in awe, again. The whole house has such a great atmosphere, we can't wait to book it for next year!! We love this place. Thank you for the greatest house....“
