„We loved the relaxing location of this property on the Thornapple River. We were able to kayak, barbeque, watch movies and sit by the campfire. If you are OK with an older home, this is the place for you! We did not want fancy, we wanted family and that's what we got. Thank you so much! “

„My family of 4 and 2 friends stayed for GVSU family weekend. It was a nice place to retreat close to campus. It was a very clean and quiet place on the river. My son and I enjoyed the kayaks. Host was very nice and had great communication:)“

„We had family flying in from Florida and Nashville for a 3 day stay for a wedding. We had 5 adults and 2 one and half year olds. It was very accommodating. The host was so friendly and we were able to get in early and check out later. We also brought our boat and was able to dock it at the property so we could easily get back and forth to bay pointe. We highly recommend this rental!“

„Rich and Starr were excellent hosts. The cottage was perfect for 2 adults and 3 teenage boys. Very clean! The communication was excellent before and throughout our stay. They helped us on where to put our boat in and any other questions we had considering this was our first time there. Would definitely recommend using rich and Starr!!! Thank you!!! “

„every thing was awesome! my hosts were very nice folks. its the only place I've stayed that truly had EVERYTHING you need. the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots pans, and utensils. Very clean and well kept. Even came with a complimentary yellow lab to play fetch with. great little fishing lake. probably gonna go back this spring.“

„We loved this cottage!!! It was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved the view of the lake, we played games and read and just enjoyed the deck so much. It was very quiet and we loved watching the boats on the lake. We also enjoyed our visits from an eagle who flies right over. We would love to visit Nancy again at the cottage she is the best host...“

„This cozy bungalow worked perfect for our family of 5 as we had friends on the lake and were able to keep our boat at their home. Very clean, smelled fresh when we arrived. The kids loved the loft and 2/3 slept up there comfortably. The 'waterfront' was more like a channel (definitely not swimmable) but my kids enjoyed the wildlife and catching frogs. I liked sitting out in the morning having my cup of coffee. Wound rent again 😉 Thank you“
