Comfy, cozy campsite on the river. Your cozy getaway awaits in Granite Falls at this delightful cabin. Nestled in a serene location, this charming property offers a perfect OFF-GRID retreat for guests seeking tranquility and relaxation. Great Glamping spot, if you will. The cabin is a cozy studio with a pull out sofa bed and cot in the loft (sleeps 3) The ladder is removable to keep children from climbing if needed. Whether you're planning a romantic stay or a family trip away from the normal day-to-day stressors, this is the place to be!
At the property there is an outhouse/toilet paper, batteries to charge your phone and other electronics, lighting, projector compatible with cellphones to stream your favorite apps. Charcoal bbq, firewood, and outdoor seating. Be sure to bring a cooler to store your food and water! :)
*in the summer time some of the trees and grass over grow quite a bit, and the grass may also die in places considering there is no running water on the property. the property will not always look exactly like the photos!!*

Has the potential to be enchanting
This little cabin has a peaceful setting with easy access to Granite Falls and beyond. Directions were easy to follow and helpful. It’s evident that much care has been taken to create an inviting space but it’s not quite as advertised. Thoughtful efforts like providing a battery pack and water setup are unfortunately diminished by the lack of explanation for use. I would not recommend arriving after dark because the solar lights are not easily found or activated. The current layout could not accommodate more than two adults and a tween - the loft is quite small and cannot be accessed if the sofa bed is pulled out. There is a very nice electric tea kettle/coffee pot and assorted china cups but otherwise, only three forks, one spoon and two straws. The stovetop, stereo, and TV mentioned in the description are missing - as are basic supplies, like trashcan and paper towels or tissues. The lack of available light in the “outhouse” was actually a blessing - it’s nearly full and poorly maintained. A bit of attention to a few details onsite and a description do-over would make this little cabin a nice couple’s getaway.

Glamping by the River
Cute place and beautiful, quiet setting. Terrific access to Mt Loop Highway and hiking. Very close to the neighbors. Porta potty kind of gross. Don't forget that there is no electricity or running water!!

Perfect retreat
We had such a great time here! We had a couple people come for a river-side hang out. Location was gorgeous, and the river access was wide stairs straight into a calm inlet. Cabin is so so pretty. Only issues we had was that the way to the lot isn't marked, and the porta-potty was kinda dark. My mother requested an annual trip!

Enchanting Little Riverside Stay
The directions they gave us to find it were great and we didn't have any issues. The cabin itself was comfortable and stayed cool despite the heat. We loved having access to the river and wading around in it. The outdoor area was comfortable to hang out in and we enjoyed cooking our dinner over the fire. Lots of stars at night, and good food/shopping options nearby in Granite Falls.

Cute property, terrible area & did not feel safe
My stay was a disaster, for reasons that don't all have to do with host. Property was difficult to locate - b/w VRBO app & host's directions we were given 3 separate addresses. Driveway was blocked by shady neighbors (not host's fault) that left us feeling uncomfortable. Arrival delayed by an hour. Listing is stated as having stovetop kitchen, this is not accurate. There is no kitchen, but there is an option to use an electric griddle with battery provided. Battery only lasts a couple hours. Only way to recharge is if you have an outlet in your vehicle. As a result we came unprepared to cook. Host agreed to my partial refund request, which I appreciate. Overall, important info missing from listing. Host explained this was the fault of VRBO's system. Property was more enjoyable after friend brought me a camp stove to cook with. Enjoyed sitting by the river most the day, though there is a strong urine smell that kept wafting intermittently. During the night heard footsteps in the gravel walking around the cabin. Unsettling. Drove up the hill to get reception for a phone call with my husband. Was approached by a shirtless man in a silver vehicle with "for official use only" sticker. He started interrogating me about why I was there and badgered me to leave. The experience left me deeply shaken. I decided it was time to just leave. I messaged host about what I just experienced and explained that I was leaving & cleaned up. No response, which is disappointing.
