Eastman Home with Hot Tub!

Relax in the 6 person hot tub or unwind by the floor to ceiling fireplace after a long day of exploring Eastman . Have a campfire in the front yard and toast smores or enjoy dinner at the large dining room table inside! This home has been tastefully updated and has everything you might need for the perfect getaway. The primary bedroom on the main floor features a king size bed, walk in closet, desk space, and a slider to a private deck area. The main level also features laundry off the kitchen and a full bathroom. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, one with a twin over twin bunk bed and the second with a queen size bed. Both rooms are connected by a Jack and Jill style 3/4 bathroom. There is additional sleeping for two on the queen size sofa sleeper in the loft. Continue your entertaining outside on the large rap around deck with outdoor dining table and a 6 person hot tub with waterfall.

Eastman's North Cove Beach is located just 1.4 miles from the property. Enjoy all of Eastman's amenities during your stay including tennis, pickleball, a championship 18 hole golf course, indoor swimming pool, hiking trails, cross country ski trails and more!

The house was absolutely amazing! It's actually nicer in person than the photos! The host was super responsive and very helpful when an ice storm knocked out the power for a whole day. We enjoyed making fires in the fireplace (especially during the ice storm, though they also have a backup heater), cooking in the well-appointed kitchen, and the proximity to so many Indy pass ski resorts. It is a little far away from civilization if you enjoy eating out and shopping, but we like quiet, and we never figured out where the ice skating and sledding areas were, but it was a bit too cold to enjoy those anyway. The beds were comfortable, and the couch amazingly cozy for our family of 4. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely weekend here! The house was beautiful. It was so secluded, quiet, and everything we could’ve hoped for. Morning coffee in the screened in room was our favorite part of the trip. Access to the Lake was a wonderful amenity and the entire property was absolutely stunning. We had one minor incident but the host was immediately responsive and helped us get everything sorted. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice getaway out in nature.

Great house

A little late leaving a review but this house was amazing. From having dinner on the porch and enjoying the greenery to having my morning coffee in the sunroom and listening to the birds. We enjoyed every second of it. The owners were very accommodating and communicated well and responded quickly. I’d stay in this house again if i could. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. Beautiful home. Very thoughtfully and tastefully decorated. Comfortable furniture and items for leisure, TV, games, reading materials, etc. Enjoyed. the hot tub. Had access to lots of useful items in the kitchen for cooking. Had fun grilling. Will definitely recommend.

Wonderful Weekend Getaway

We stayed here as a cozy winter weekend getaway with friends, and it was perfect. The hot tub was clean and plenty hot, the fire place was great for keeping warm & cozy, the couch was big enough for everyone to sit on, and the dining table was perfect size for board games and group dinners. The house was overall very well equipped and in good condition. The bed in the main bedroom was possibly one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in a vacation rental. The community that the property sits in was also great for a weekend trip - there were lots of scenic nature trails around to go wander & hike. 10/10 would rent again.

Our White House adventures

This was our first time staying in the White House where we met up with our dear friends from the Boston area who had a 6 turning 7 year old son and an 18-month daughter. The location was perfect being 1.5 hours from us both as we were fall adventuring in central VT. We also loved the layout of the home providing privacy for their small, young family and ours as a couple. The outdoor hot tub surrounded by gorgeous forest was a selling point for evening relaxation. This home worked out perfectly for the 6 of us and we'd happily return again soon to adventure together. It was lovely.

Excellent home. Would stay here again.

We really liked this place. It’s just as the photos show. Although the wood stove was not available for use, we didn’t use the fireplace, as the central heating was very comfortable. We used the hot tub every day - it’s quite big and very nice. The management rep was very responsive to our questions. While it is indeed a bit far (10 minutes) from the clubhouse/community entrance, it is in a very quiet wooded setting.

Great stay in Upper Valley

Beautiful place with open layout that suited our group well (2 couples + 3 kids, ages 5-7). Place was pristine when we arrived. We chose the property for its proximity to Mt Sunapee and the fact that it has a hot tub. Learned after reserving about the ice skating, nordic skiing, and sledding available at the Eastman clubhouse, which was a huge bonus. Used the hot tub at the house every day - it's huge and newer and readily accessible from the house. The stocked drink cooler in the garage was a nice touch - saved the day with a Coke for our slow-cooker ribs! Only nits to pick: As noted elsewhere, would be great to have recycling. We tossed sooo many cans/plastic. Would've been great to have a 13x9 baking dish, bread pan, or muffin tin. No issues with HVAC, though it was a bit confusing since there are numerous thermostats around the house. Some caveats/tips: The second floor is only accessible by spiral staircase. Kids loved it, and it certainly looks cool. But could be difficult for some and we grew a bit weary of hauling stuff up and down. The house is on a gravel road with some steep parts. All passable in our Subie but still slippery and windy during our February stay. It's also a good 10-15min drive off the highway, deep within Eastman. We were going for remote, so we were aware of and happy with location, but it means beer/food runs take a while. Budget time accordingly. The Rum Brook Market just outside Eastman had everything we needed.

Good stay but room for improvement....

Overall it was a great stay but I wanted to provide what I hope is constructive feedback in this email which might help subsequent guests and for you and the owner to provide improved service. - Furnace wasn't working properly but was eventually fixed late the following day. - Window didn’t work above sink - once opened it was almost impossible to shut. Needs a note to say do not open -or- get fixed - Food freezes in fridge. We reset the temp to a few degrees above freezing but didn't fix it. Ended up having to use fridge in garage for food and drinks so they wouldn't freeze. - Directions for wood burning stove. May be obvious to most but we never used one before and there are knobs on the side which we didn't understand. Directions would have been very helpful. - Ensure thermostat connected to WiFi and leave directions for how to use and reconnect. It was not connected when we arrived and we had to figure out how to reconnect to internet. Once we did it worked but not for long due to clogged air filter which was fixed the following day. - No recycle bin (looked all over for it when leaving). - Only one stove burner ignites when turned on. Other three need to be fixed.
