„We checked into the outdoor area with a bedroom, that’s the only way to describe it. The area was not secure and people walked in and passed every day. It is not safe for your pet (booked as stated pet friendly, but the place is open and not secure, so the dog wandered off a few times. As for the unit, there was mould everywhere even inside the bedroom. Kitchen was run down and dirty, mouldy salt sachets were one of the few condiments supplied. „Mitten im Regenwald gelegenes aus mehreren Bungalows bestehendes Hotel. Sehr moderne, neue Ausstattung mit Whirlpool draußen. Vom Balkon toller Blick auf den Regenwald. Da sehr abgelegen (keine Restaurants oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe), kann man Frühstück und Dinner Packages zum selber kochen bestellen. Gastgeber sehr freundlich, hier ist man weniger auf Kontakt aus, man will die Gäste ungestört lassen. kleiner hübscher Pool vorhanden. “

„Photos didn’t lie. The place was excellent. All 4 bedrooms were well appointed with their own bathrooms. Kids had the top level to themselves. Kitchen was amazing. All appliances were quality and made cooking very pleasant. Alfresco with BBQ and Pool is intimate and doesn’t get any sun. But that was the only downside. Would highly recommend for families sharing with other families“

„Johnny and crew were a great help with any concerns, even measured our stairway so we could hire the baby stair ends for the 3year old(and recommended Oz Baby Hire who supplied the stair ends) A great kitchen with lots of utensils if we wanted to eat in. Fantastic location right in the middle of Macrossan st restaurants, bars and shops. Less than 100 metres from two bakeries, Indian,vietnamese,european restaurants. The heated pool was very popular and used daily. Very comfy beds and with 4 ...

„We had a great stay here. My daughter was in the pool every day and the property was in good nick. The bedrooms were a good size with good flexibility for sleeping arrangements. Lots of amenities. There were a couple of minor issues - the undercover car park for this unit in particular was very challenging to get in and out of with our hire car (SUV) and the upstairs bathroom has no door (which is less than ideal when you have 3 kids!).“

„Amazing property that is as good in reality as it looks, we could have stayed here much longer and I would definitely recommend or stay again. The property was huge, the private villa pool was lovely, we used the gym and bouldering wall as well as watching the sunset on the private beach. Communication is first class. The only consideration for anyone else is that you really need a car to stay here.“

„On arrival we were greeted by our friendly valet,Dean who gave us instructions on our buggy use and showed us some highlights of Hamilton Island on the way to our accomodation. We had access to a buggy the whole stay which was perfect to get around and oh so easy to use. Our accomodation was wonderful with AMAZING views. „This property is old and very dated. There was no communication leading up to our reservation.i had to call multiple times to find out which unit to stay in and then to figure out where the unit was. The unit itself is not welcoming. It is dreary and old. There is no place to relax. No toiletries are provided. The walking times on the listing are not accurate. It is a 15 minute drive to Cape Hillsborough Beach. „We had an enjoyable stay“

„We loved the location of the property and enjoyed our stay. It was a 5-10 min stroll down to the dock for our excursion to the Great Barrier Reef. The property was very nice, clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed. The size was perfect hanging out with 7 adults. We did need to contact the property management one evening for an issue that was our fault and they came out to the property that evening to resolve the issue. “

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Reef View Hotel. The transfer from the airport to the hotel was very pleasant. The welcome at reception was excellent and the hotel and surrounding area were very well explained to us. The rooms are very large and we had a great sea view from the 10th floor. A small negative aspect is that the rooms are a bit dated and you can see this in one or two places. A renovation is necessary from our point of view. The breakfast buffet offered a varied selection. The choice of excursions is also very varied, but sometimes also very expensive. A big plus point is the free rental of non-motorized water sports. All in all, we liked the Reef View Hotel very much and would definitely come back again. "
