„We enjoyed our stay in Alan’s cozy cottage. It is beautiful. It had such a comfortable bed (the bed should have its own five star rating!). The kitchen was well equipped with essentials for us such as coffee maker, filters, mugs, plates, microwave, and more. It was a great place to come back to after days of exploring Acadia National Park and the surrounding area. Alan is a very responsive host and we enjoyed meeting him.“

„The boathouse was bigger than I expected based on photos. Kitchen works, everything you need is there, limited counter space meant we swapped things out as needed. A seal came to visit most evenings as we sat on the deck! It was very clean, and stocked with salt and pepper etc which is always nice. Plan to go back!“

„We stayed in the apartment for 3 nights and our stay could not have been better! The apartment is in the middle of town, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It was spotlessly clean and has a lovely porch which has a view of the harbor. There is also easy access to Schoodic Peninsula and some nice hiking trails. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!“

„We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin. We loved it to stay there. The cabin has a lot of beautiful details which make you feel home immidiately. „If you're looking for a quiet place to stay as a base to explore Acadia but away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor, this tranquil spot in Winter Harbor is perfect. Loved the views of Henry's Cove from the living/ dining area and deck. Enjoyed peaceful evenings by the firepit listening to the birds and gentle ocean waves, morning walks to Grindstone Point, and meals at the Pickled Wrinkle and Chase's. Host Elizabeth was excellent. „We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. „The house was very nice and spacious. Plenty of sleeping space for our 5 adults. The house had tons of cleaning supplies, towels, and paper towels and toilet paper. Only a short drove to Arcadia and plenty of other sites including the water front within walking distance. Overall I would recommend to others especially if you have a larger family.“
