„Very few properties are perfect and this property had a few issues, but these pale in comparison to the convenience, location, professionalism, and cleanliness. The staff more were truly amazing and they themselves deserve five stars. They were accommodating, considerate, professional, efficient, kind, and truly represented the very best of York. I would be inclined to make these apartments my go to place for any future visits to York.“

„Die Unterkunft liegt in einem nördlichen Stadtteil von York in einem Reihenhaus. Zu Fuß ist man in ca. 15 Min. in der Stadt, für Ausflüge, z.B. in die North York Moors oder an die Ostküste, ist man schnell auf der Ringstraße und umgeht den Stadtverkehr. Parkplätze waren vor dem Haus regelmäßig vorhanden - außer, als einmal im nahen Stadion der Minstermen ein Fußballspiel lief. „Beautiful stay at these gorgeous sea view apartments. The hotel reception staff were so friendly and helpful and we had a lovely surprise of some delicious complimentary cupcakes when we entered the apartment. The apartment itself had everything we needed for our stay and for my elderly father-in-law who now struggles with stairs, the added bonus of a lift that takes you straight into the apartment. „We loved our stay at Holly Cottage, the kitchen is fabulously equipped, and house has a welcoming friendly decor. The kitchen and snug is a fabulous place to gather and where we spent a lot of our time. Parking at the property was easy, and plenty of room for our 2 cars - but with a car park just around the corner it would be easy with more vehicles. Lovely base to explore so many interesting places. Local cafe just acroos the road was great for bread and milk supplies. Nothing not to love ...

Sie liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Stadtmauer. Die Abwicklung hat sehr gut geklappt. Parkplätze gab es immer genügend vor der Tür. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.“

"A lovely old hotel. All rooms were tastefully and stylishly furnished. Our room was very spacious and modernly furnished. The bathroom was also very nice. The breakfast was good and there was something for every taste. Only the jam dispensers were a bit complicated to handle."

"we had a clean and lovely studio apartment . only minus points were the view on the car park next door from our studio and to pay extra for the parking. check in and out was very easy and the mini kiosk had reasonable prices. overall we had a great stay and enjoyed it very much :)"
