„This property is stunning, and the view is spectacular. If this were my house, I’d never leave! We had a fabulous time. “

„Great house very comfortable and well appointed. Very roomy for our entire family. Nice to have en suite bathrooms with all the bedrooms. The host was very good with communication. Located on a busy road and the driveway is on a curve which made it a little challenging entering and exiting the property. “

„We enjoyed our stay. Nice quiet area. Short walk to a small beach which was great for beach walking and scenery. House has ample parking, plenty of bedroom space and a well stocked kitchen. We had 8 adults and did not feel cramped at all. Short drive (10-15 minutes) to coffee shops, market and restaurants. Would benefit from patio and outdoor furniture to allow guests to more fully enjoy the property and surrounding scenery “

„The cabin was clean and neat. We found it to be as advertised. It’s proximity to the ocean can’t be beat. “

„Lovely place for a couple and a child. Master bedroom was lovely. Water would not allow bathing but shower was ok in hall bath. The downstairs sleeping for two adults was a little difficult. Would have been nice to know upfront that the water was not potable. Nice touches with the set dining table and toiletries. View is amazing.“

„What a wonderful stay. The views were absolutely amazing. Kitchen well equipped. We bought live lobsters just $10 a lb from Hannafords (try also the French baguette) just 12 min drive and cooked them, clams and corn all in the steamer provided. Lounge seating very comfortable. Cooks corner area has everything incl Walmart superstore. David was a wonderful host. Could not speak too highly of him. He came out late at night when I could not work something out.“

„This rental is adorable with so many thoughtful touches from the host. From the personalized card and snacks to the labels explaining most everything you'd like to know about the space, everything has been considered. A great base from which to explore a fun town.“

„Absolutely loved this property! My family and I enjoyed every minute of our stay! Listening to the waves crashing on the rocks, hanging out by the fire and just relaxing made for the perfect after Christmas getaway! I look forward to coming again! Highly recommend “

„The Globe House was a wonderful Plato spend a couple of days while exploring Portland. The house itself was immaculate and well appointed, with extra touches that put it a step above: the fresh scent from a diffuser welcomed us, a complimentary bottle of wine awaited us in the refrigerator, and luxe amenities like L’Occitane moisturizer were provided. „We had a great time at Nick's apartment, it is spaceous and tastefully furnished. We were able to feel right at home and used the kitchen every day, the dining room had space for all of us which made for some great holiday meals together. The location is nearly unbeatable with just two blocks to the promenade by the water and a short walk to downtown. Congress Street, which is 50 yards from the front door, has a really cool vibe with bars, cafes and restaurants. Yet, you are clearly nestled in a ...

„This apartment on Munjoy Hill was very comfortable for 3 generations to spend the holidays together. It allowed for visits with friends since my mom is not very mobile these days. We got to spend some time enjoying our old neighborhood and all that it offers, including a growing number of restaurants and bars!“

Beim zweiten Mal (dieselbe) war sie recht freundlich. Housekeeping hat bei uns leider nicht funktioniert. Auch auf Nachfrage nicht. Wir mussten uns dann selbst um Handtücher kümmern. Die Gegend ist gut.“

„I was looking for a place that was easy to get to after flying all day before starting a three day conference. The room was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable bed and a beautiful view. I was able to walk down to old Port board, the ferry, explore restaurants and coffee shops all within minutes from my hotel. “

"Das Hotel selbst ist sehr gut. Der Zustand auch. Das kostenlose Frühstück ist absolut in Ordnung. Am ersten Tag war die Mitarbeiterin beim Frühstück total unfreundlich. Beim zweiten Mal (dieselbe) war sie recht freundlich. Housekeeping hat bei uns leider nicht funktioniert. Auch auf Nachfrage nicht. Wir mussten uns dann selbst um Handtücher kümmern. Die Gegend ist gut."

"Bed was dirty when we arrived (brown spots). We had to change the sheets by ourselves because they were short staffed. Breakfast was ok. Breakfast staff was very friendly. We got a voucher for a free one night stay. Unfortunately we wont’t be able to use it because it is only valid for Portland and will expire next year. "
