We especially enjoy the ability to have all 20 of us seated around one table for meals. We were pleasantly surprised this year that the driveway has been paved. We are planning to be back again next year. “

„Our stay was during the middle of the week and we had the lake to ourselves. The cabin is remote with no major roads or traffic noise, but other cabins nearby. It was a perfect relaxing getaway.“

„thanks, you so much for a wonderful stay. the cabin was beautiful, clean and we loved it. the only issue I would say is trying to get out of the driveway. in a large truck, there was not a lot of room to maneuver and if we had had a second vehicle, I don't know how that would have worked due to the fact I am not use to such tight steep driveways. Overall, the cabin was amazing. thanks, you so much for a wonderful stay“

There were condiments and so much stuff for us to use, which was nice coming from out of state and not wanting to buy all the things that we would just use a little of. The place smelled so clean and fresh! They were great about communication every step of the booking and check in. We plan on coming back with my other family members next time. There was lots of extra room!“

„Beautiful mountain setting, horse pasture out front. Friendly, helpful staff. Had to figure out why wi-fy wasn't working. Had to bring our own Keurig. Couldn't get to streaming tv. Tiny kitchen, few dishes.“

„No disappointments. Beautiful rustic/historic cabin over a pond. Hosts were there to greet us, gave us homemade treats, explained the history of the property, and were just fantastic people. Loved walking the farm—especially the week old Buffalo. Felt like finding a Diamond. Loved this stay! Slept great!“

„Great location on the watauga River in a country setting. Unique cabin, with Everything needed for our stay. Enjoyed a relaxing evening by the outdoor fire pit. Will likely stay there again next year. There are also two new mini-splits which made it very comfortable when the overnight temp dipped into the low 30’s “
