„I booked this cabin for a birthday surprise for my boyfriend. It was so comfortable and secluded so we had plenty of privacy. The cabin had everything we needed and the fireplace heated the place up immediately. We brought our dog and he loved it too. You can hear the river which only added to the wonderful ambience. We’ll definitely be back!“

„Enjoyed very much! So cozy! I wish the owners communicated a few things prior (how to turn on water heater for hot water and how to troubleshoot when water runs out). This was my first RV stay so I was uneducated about these tasks. Which resulted in bathing with cold water and washing dishes with water bottles. However, they resolved the issues quickly when asked and had overall great communication about everything else. “

„Very clean, close to Monterey. Safeway is less than 10 min away. Bit of a winding road to get there but nothing scary. People have negative thoughts about the bathroom, but it’s seriously not as big of a deal that people made it out to be. If you’re in the bedroom and someone’s in the bathroom, you have to wait to get to the kitchen, living room. Not a concern. We absolutely loved it and the host, Jae was amazing and quick to communicate with. Perfect for 2 people“

„This is a lovely private remote getaway with incredible views of the valley! My husband and I loved staying here. The beds are very comfortable, the showers are clean and have great water pressure, the kitchen was well-appointed and stocked with everything you might need to make a full meal. The driveway is indeed steep and winding -- I didn't have the courage to drive it myself, and I can't imagine attempting to do it while towing ...

„Da wir mit Kind unterwegs waren, brauchten wir auf dem Highway 1 mehrere Zwischenübernachtungen und die Big Sur Lodge war dabei auf der einen Strecke die einzige Möglichkeit. Check-in/Check-out war problemlos, aber auch nicht besonders herzlich oder freundlich. Netzabdeckung gibt es kaum und WLan wäre zu teuer, ist also nicht zu empfehlen. Auch Frühstück/Restaurant/Aufenthaltsraum sind ok, wir hatten zum Glück von vorher etwas eingekauft und mussten hier nichts nutzen. Die Hütte ist in Ordnung ...
