The location is great: close to the center and with shops and restaurants as well as the loch. We also really enjoyed the included breakfast (we had the full breakfast) and the atmosphere of the place which reminded me of a casual hotel in the US. The staff was always friendly and accommodating.“

The rest feels like a duck decoy: glossy on the surface, but hollow underneath. Reception staff weren’t rude, but they might as well have been automated – check-in and check-out were delivered in flat monotone, and no one seemed to care that my stay was merely “okay.” The room was basic, with decor so synthetic it practically quacked of plastic.
