Relax on Lake Bowen at our spacious 3-bedroom retreat

This 3 Bedroom, 3 full bath, features 3 queen beds with a futon in the sunroom. The home has ample space for your relaxing stay at the lake! We offer high-speed WiFi great for those times you have to work while on vacation . We have a propane grill and fully equipped kitchen that allows for great meals after a long day of swimming. The back deck offers additional eating space with a 4 person table and an 6 person table available for outdoor dining. If you decide to bring your own boat we have a boat ramp and dock. We are located on a private cove that is perfect for swimming. A kayak and floats are available for guest use. Pets Allowed with pet fee.

Thanksgiving Family trip
Wonderful stay, perfect property to relax and unwind while down visiting family in SC. Wish we could have stayed longer. Excellent supply of spices for cooking, had everything we needed to make meals. Beds were comfortable. Washer dryer worked well. It was great that there was plenty of space to have some family come by for dinner.

Very peaceful
I was looking for a place to bring my elderly dad to fish and have family join us. It was perfect! Short walk to the lake and we caught a lot of fish right from the dock. Our 5 year old grandson was thrilled with the kayaks and the S’mores at the fire pit. The house was super cozy and the kitchen met all our needs. We will definitely book again.

Perfect for a large family
This space was so wonderful that our family gathering of 10 didn’t feel crowded at all. Kids had fun playing darts and Uno and chilled one evening watching a movie on Hulu. It was easy to find plates and silverware because all of the drawers were labeled and the big coffee pot kept us happily caffeinated! The only down side was we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the kayaks and the lake. Guess we’ll have to come back again!

Perfect for our needs
We were in town a wedding. With the wedding festivities taking place, I wish we had more time to enjoy the house and all it had to offer . Look forward to renting again in the future when we have more time..the only thing I would change is maybe mattress toppers for the beds. I am used to a firm mattress. It is what I have at home..however other members of group are not . Other than that, I loved the house, location, the spaciousness,. Wonderful big backyard on the lake.. would definitely rent it again

A Peaceful Spot
We needed a place to stay for a family wedding that allowed pets and this was perfect. It is in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood on the water that had everything we needed to make some great family memories. Hurricane Helene had just gone through and we were allowed to stay despite there being no power for the first part of the trip. The evenings were cool with a nice breeze off the water and mornings spectacular sitting on the back porch. The kayaks and fire pit made for a nice sunset experience. The unit was well supplied with everything needed and was clean, spacious and cozy.Thank you for a memorable week!

Perfect Lake House Getaway
This is the cutest lake house on lake lure. Nice huge dock with plenty of room for fishing, clean water, easy to find, conveniently located to stores and restaurants in a very quite neighborhood on the cove. House has everything we needed.

This lake home is outstanding. The lake views are breathtaking. We were able to enjoy fishing from their dock, played. corn hole, used their kayaks. This place makes you. feel so relaxed from the moment you open the front door. We hope to.visit.again in the future!

We celebrated our son's birthday on July 28 making memories. Allison is a great host welcoming us into her home on Lake Bowen, SC, her house is perfect for anyone wanting to stay here. What a beautiful place to meet my beautiful half sister whom I met through Ancestry.com and my wonderful new found family. Beautiful grounds, beautiful interior, relaxing and peaceful atmosphere! The pictures posted do not do this place justice. It was drop dead gorgeous inside and out! My mouth dropped open and I squealed when I opened the door, and yours will too when you see it:) We took fold up chairs out on the dock in the early morning with our coffee and just listened to the sounds of nature. This house is well stocked with everything you need. We brought way too much stuff that was already there. There were a few little things we noticed that could stand improving. Brighter lighting. Took forever to charge my cell phone from multiple places. Floor was not clean in kitchen. Didn't really like the idea of having to strip the beds and do the wash before checking out. I thought that should have been part of the cleaning fee. Overall though we had a wonderful stay at the Lake House!

Our adult children live 11 and 9 hours away so we always meet somewhere in SC. As my granddaughter said, "Mia this is the best house yet." The house was very clean, well organized and the house was on a beautiful piece of property.

From start to finish we had an amazing stay. Our family traveled down for our sons graduation from Sherman college. The house was close to the college and a short trip to the town of Spartanburg. We enjoyed the deck the dock and all the amenities!

Great vacation for kids!
We highly recommend this to families! The interior of the house is a clean, casual and easy to get comfortable in. The sunroom is awesome - we spent every morning and evening there, catching the sunrise and sunset. The BEST part is this backyard --- beautiful grass leading right up to the dock. We couldn't keep the kids out of the water! We popped by other rentals that our family was using - this one was for sure the best location if you're looking for a lake vacation.

We really enjoyed the property. Our kids fished off the dock. We caught a small fish and had a lot of bites and nibbles. We found a boat rental of a neighbor on the lake. We were close to Asheville and major attractions. The property was quiet. We loved the sunroom and playing darts. The rooms were good sizes. Beds were comfy. It felt like a home-away-from-home. Quiet, safe, relaxing ... but that neighbor ...
We had a wonderful weekend. The sunroom is perfect and relaxing. Plenty of places to sit and sleep for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to prepare meals in (mainly breakfast). I liked the water and ice feature in the refrigerator. The lake was quiet, almost too quiet, we hardly saw anyone at all. It was chilly so we were inside most of the time, and gone during the day. 2 Dollar General stores within 3 miles for all basics, and an Ingles grocery store (it was HUGE) less than 10 minutes away. We were close to everything we needed. We used the fire pit on New Years eve and it was great until the neighbor blasted us with their flood lights, so that was not the fault of the home owner. It literally looked like there were about 10 flood lights on when we were roasting marshmallows and trying to enjoy the quietness of the lake and the stars. The tub in the middle bathroom is GREAT, but the hot water runs out if you try to fill it up so only use it when no one uses hot water for about 4 hours (washer, dishwasher etc). The arm ramps in the tub made for a nice relaxing soak. The shower heads were great. There were plenty of towels- more than any rental I have ever been in. The sheets were all soft and comfortable as was all the bedding. The picture on the walls were nice. I felt very much at home and relaxed. The place was not overdecorated which is another plus.
