„Inside was very clean and cozy. Delicious muffins left by the hosts to start our day. We can only do 5 stars because of the outside area. The grill and firepit area were full of weeds, as was the front door area. We brought food to grill, but cooked inside due to weeds and rocks. Outside patio furniture should have been cleaned before rental. Other than outside, everything was terrific. We would go back.“

„My family and some friends stayed here for the weekend while attending a wedding down the street at Juniper Springs Barn. The cabin was in great condition and exactly as listed. „The Sunrise Retreat was a perfect relaxing stay! The house is extremely comfortable with everything you could need. It is located directly on the river and we saw a bald eagle several times! David had a kayak, canoe, and paddleboard on site and our kids were in and out of the water all day! It was a short drive to Lake George and several spots to hike! David even took us out on his boat. Super easy to check in (he even left cookies)! Highly recommend!“

"The room was large and comfortable. It looked as though it had been renovated within the last year. The cleanliness of the room was a bit lacking due to spider webs being in the corners and the bathtub had some mildew, also the cabinet tops had not been cleaned. It was also hard to get a response like “Hello” from the employees or any type of greetings. We had ordered our room with a “large breakfast” and had confirmation of this, but was told this no longer existed and that we would get a mini version of this. They said this was a mistake of our third party travel company. The mini version consisted of bagels with butter and cereal. The hotel has a lot of potential, but needs a bit of fine tuning."
