Salty & Sandy (Upstairs Duplex) is a 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom beach house duplex sleeping 8 and is located in the East End of Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Parking available for up to 2 vehicles.

***DOG FEE is $250 and max weight of dog allowed is 40 pounds. Dog fee is NOT included in the total. You will need to let us know after reserving that you are bringing a dog so the fee can be added.***

One of the highlights of this vacation rental is the shared pool and hot tub, located just a few steps from your front door. Whether you want to cool off on a hot day or relax in the warm bubbles, these amenities are perfect for unwinding after a day of sun and sand. Please note that the hours for the heater on the hot tub are PRE-SET to run between 8:00am to 3:00am and cannot be adjusted.

BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.

NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.

AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.

CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.

DOG-FRIENDLY PROPERTIES: If you are staying at a dog-friendly property, you MUST notify us and pay a non-refundable dog deposit. Failure to do so will result in us charging your card for the entire amount authorized for damage. ( limit 1- ONE DOG weighing NO MORE THAN 40lbs.)

MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.

PARKING PASSES: 2 - The cost of parking passes is set by each Homeowner's Association and is subject to change at any time without notice. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.

CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

Family Vacation
When we first got there we had not received a door code even though I paid for an early check in and then the cleaning lady stop by and apologized for not being able to get in! She said she still had to clean it which was fine by us !! She took about an hour and then left after that we found that the hot tube was not getting hot and phones in ! Their maintenance guy called and explained what was going on with the hot tub and that it would be fixed soon because it needed a part , it was the only reason my wife chose this place so she was bummed out !! It got fixed on Monday morning and she at least got to enjoy it for the last two days we were ther.e !! Despite all the annoyance of how it started off it was a good vacation and I will consider renting this property again!!

When we first arrived the smell of the house was horrendous. Through our 5 day extend stay, the smell reaked of sewer. Although the commutation between the owners was consistent, the hot tub as well had numerous problems. Overall, it was a great experience minus the re occurring issues.

The property was perfect for ourselves and our two small dogs. The condo has been newly renovated and was very well appointed. We really enjoyed the pool as we could spend time out there and our dogs could enjoy the yard. Great way to spend a week at thanksgiving.

Beachball Properties dropped the beachball
While the condo was nice, the pool was so nasty we couldn't use it the last 2.5 days we were there. We called Property managers twice and it was never taken care of. The downstairs guests turned on the hot tub and we had TV on in upstairs unit so the power in upstairs unit went out. Again, we had to call twice to get the power restored. The hot tub is wired into the upstairs unit for some reason. The maintenance guy who came was awesome tho. Then we had workers installing gutters while we were there. Pretty place, management is pretty bad. Wouldnt recommend.

Everything was great. Closed to everything, shopping, beach, restaurants. Enjoy our 7 days there. The only think that we had an issue with was that the blankets and pillows were full of dogs hair. I message the company and they brought clean ones really quick. We really liked staying here.

We enjoyed our stay at this property! It was priced well, clean, comfortable and kitchen was adequately supplied. (But check the toilet paper supply-only 1 (not new) roll was provided.) Nice pool and hot tub. It's an easy walk to the beach and close to restaurants and shopping. We didn't end up bringing our pets, but nice that it's pet friendly.

Nice property, close to beach, shops, restaurants
The condo is clean, comfortable and quieter than I expected! There is an electrical issue with the heater on the hot tub - it blows the main breaker if the heater is on and you run an appliance in the condo. Otherwise, it was a nice stay. Just a couple of things that would make it even better would be a couple more towels, a plug for the kitchen sink. It's very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. We could walk to these places easily.

Convenient Beach Cottage
Very pleased with our stay in Sandy (upstairs) Salty is downstairs. No complaints, everything is fairly new and appears to be in good shape. Modern farmhouse decor inside and nice outdoor furniture on deck and around pool. Could use a lounger by the pool. The grounds are nicely landscaped but have not been maintained very well. Needs a little tlc and the weeds pulled before they takeover. Overall I would recommend staying here. Only 2 blocks to the beach and down the street from several restaurants. Basically close to everything in Gulf Shores!

Very nice place and location
Property was nice and yard with pool and hot tub was great! However, the second day we lost power and reached out to Beach Ball several times for help with no success. They said they would report it to maintenance and it was over 7 hours before we heard from them. By this time, we had contacted the power company who said we would need an electrician because they showed we had power. My daughter’s boyfriend was able to find the main breaker and finally flip it to restore the power.
