With a modern and fully stocked kitchen, outdoor TV, and BBQ, it's perfect for family meals and gatherings. The backyard, decorated with palm trees and white sand, is your own private oasis. The main level deck and ground-level patio provide the perfect spots to take in the salty air and enjoy the fresh sea breeze.

Inside, the cottage boasts comfortable sleeping arrangements for up to 9 guests. The master bedroom features a new queen mattress, 50-inch TV, and a fully renovated bathroom with a luxurious walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms offer a triple bunk and twin bunks, perfect for the kids. The living room also includes a queen sleeper sofa for additional sleeping space.

This charming cottage has received all the latest upgrades including a new dishwasher and garbage disposal, modern decor, and new appliances. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary equipment for your convenience. The living room has a new 55-inch TV and all baseboards, crown molding, and cabinets have been freshly painted.

Group stay
Renter had excellent customer service and answered questions in a timely manner. Property was too small for 10 people to stay there. There were on 4 of us and it was just enough room. Downstairs bed was extremely uncomfortable and that so we head was broken and fell in my husband’s foot causing severe damage. Not worth the money.

My usual reviews are complimentary and generous. This one isn’t. Highlights-the “updated” features refer to kitchen, main bath, tvs, floors and recessed lighting. Negatives-initially, surfaces appear clean. But the property needs a thorough, deep cleaning-dirty kitchen items, hair on the floor, toys under furniture, dusty blinds, baseboards and cabinet grooves, gritty floors, trash and discarded items on the outside of the property are a few examples. The furniture in the living space is outdated, uncomfortable and unkept with apparent stains. Older furniture is fine, but it should at least be clean and relatively comfortable. Many deceiving discrepancies from the Expedia/VRBO description. 3rd BR and 2nd bath have no access from the main level and are a bit daunting and scary. Thankfully we didn’t need them. 1 blk from the beach is really like 3 1/2 blks. The dining table is a picnic bench on the deck, and there are no bikes. Communication was disappointing. Since I never received check in info after my final payment, I sent an unanswered email, which then forced me to call for an update. The day of check in, I was simply given the door code and WiFi info via a text. It was very abrupt and cold. For this price point, I’m not expecting luxury, high end or extravagance. But I do expect clean, comfortable and functional. I would not recommend this property or management company. If you’re considering this rental, keep searching and find something else.

Not good
No where in the description on VRBO does it state that the 3rd bedroom and 2nd bathroom are down stairs and not accessible from inside the house. This made that bedroom and bathroom unusable for us, as all of our children are younger, and we couldn't have put them down there by themselves. There was wood stacked directly next to the outdoor sink, which was a tripping hazard. The lights were laying across the ground in the backyard, again, a tripping Hazzard. One of the chairs on the patio is broken, and one of the kids fell forward out of it trying to get up. There was sand on the floors, and in the beds upon arrival. Made for an unpleasant sleeping and walking environment. Another thing not mentioned is there really is not alot of closet/drawer space for clothes. Overall, we were not very pleased, and had the description been more accurate, we most likely would not have booked here. And reached out to them before posting, but they didnt have anything to say really......

July Family Vacation
Great house for our first time!!! The management group communicated very well and handled issues quickly. We had a slow drain which they took care of the next day and two of deck chairs were broken and they replaced with 4 new ones the next day. It was well stocked with kitchen items. All we had to do was buy the food everything else was there. The fenced in yard and outside bar area with a TV was a favorite for the kids. The privacy was a major plus!!! The TV’s in every room helped keep everyone entertained in down time. The outside shower was very handy for cleaning off after the 3 block walk back from the beach. We will go through this group again next year.

Cute Beach Getaway!
We loved this property and would definitely stay here again. The large porch and the downstairs space was a nice surprise. The week we stayed here was a little bit on the cooler side so the sandy fenced in backyard was nice bc the fence blocked the wind and allowed us to sit outside.

Our stay was short and quick, the house was very inviting, had my sister and her mother in law over for a quick dinner and the kids played in the back yard ( which is like your own lot beach area with the sand and toys). Loved the outdoor shower to give the kids a quick rinse after playing outside. Will definitely be back!

Great little house
We were in Alabama for a week vacation and had seen this home on a previous vacation and decided we wanted to try it , loved the location it was so much quieter then being right on the strip, the home was clean , comfortable and just what we needed! My only complaint was the mattresses were definitely not comfortable in either of the adult beds

Too many issues
We are a family of 5, 3 teenage kids. The third bedroom (which has its own entry) and the garage/laundry room flooded on day 3 due to all the rain we had. This meant my son could not stay in this room. We tried to cook in the oven on day 2 and due to the prior family spilling something in the oven, we filled the house with smoke. We had to deep clean the oven before using it. On day 5, we found 2 very large cockroaches in the cabinets, they did send someone out the next day to spray. We were told that they come in because of the rain. The seal on both doors are not great, you can see light right through them, along with it lets the rain in and puddle at the doors. The owing on the back deck is rip and does nothing to keep rain away from the door. We were able to check-in early and at first the place was very clean just very small. This place was way too small for our family of 5. This house might fit a family of 4 with small kids. There is some maintenance that needs to be done for this place to worth the money to stay for the week.

We really enjoyed our time here! It was a very nice and comfortable stay! The check in process was easy and we were offered an earlier check in time! The communication was also easy and efficient! Oh and we loved the views! We would definitely stay here again! The only thing is there is no dishwasher so the instructions when checking out about that part were a little confusing but we just made sure to clean the dishes!

Overall, the description of property is accurate. Couple issues were the wifi& ants. They give you a network name and password but the network was no where to be found. The only TV that worked with internet was the living room and it was connected through a cable from the modem. The expect you to call the internet people and have you wait for them to come out and fix it. Not something we wanted to do on vacation so we went without. They also had ants. The bunk bed bedroom was covered with them on the bottom bunk. The bathroom & living room had trails. The bedroom downstairs was the worst so we didn’t even get to use that room. Tried to call and no one answered so I texted them (Tuesday) and they didn’t even reply about it until the NEXT day (Wednesday) and said they could have the bug guy out Thursday but he NEVER came. They did bring us any spray, so there’s that. But overall I wish I would have booked somewhere else.

Arrived after hours to find floors sandy - not thoroughly cleaned. Daughter stated concerns of cleanliness of sheets for bed she was using. Took hours for property manager to respond. A person came next morning to clean and did a good job. But it should have been clean before we arrived. Remaining stay was just ok. There was no offer to discount rate. Would not choose location again.
