„The cabin, the property, the gardens were magical. It was quiet and very peaceful.Surreybrook gardens are a site to behold and their shop has so many wonderful things at reasonable prices.Home made scones were in the freezer when we got there and supplied specialty teas were enjoyed with them. We are so grateful we found this cabin. “

„The home is situated up several narrow, winding roads. I don't recommend finding it in the dark. The rain shower shower-head is wonderful, but the shower size is too big for the room. There is no room for toiletries @ the sink. A luggage shelf would be helpful. There are no grocery store nearby. Bring your food with you.“

„The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We cooked all of our meals there and were very pleased with the size of the kitchen and found it to be well stocked with everything we needed. The cabin was very comfortable, inside and out. Lots of outdoor space to relax and enjoy a campfire, fish, and use the spacious hot tub. Would stay again!“

„We actually did not get to stay overnight as we had an injury on the Appalachian trail, but prior to, we stopped in for a small break. The property is beautiful, clean, and truly cozy. There were toys for our small kids to play with, and it has everything you need for a nice stay. “

„The driveway is extremely dangerous and I messed up my rental van really bad trying to turn around in the driveway. The cabin is really nice and in a great location. I grew up in Warfordsburg, but live in Florida. I went to visit my mom and needed a break from the city. This was perfect. There is a cardinal nest right in front of the porch and I watched them and the sunrise/sunset from the porch. It was perfect.“

„The cabin was nice, in a quiet neighborhood, with a beautiful view. The only downside was that the towns nearby were sleepers, with nothing to do and terrible restaurants, our biggest entertainment was going to the Farm Store to see baby chickens. The Inn in Berkeley was higher priced,and the food was awful. We ended up at the Food Lion, getting groceries and cooking our own meals. “

„We had a wonderful stay at Half Round! The view out the back of the house was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed the design features throughout the space. We made good use of the ample books and board games available. The hiking and biking in the nearby state park are top-notch, and the shops on and off the town’s main street only added to the experience. This cabin has everything you need to create plenty of family memories. “
