In a grassy paddock behind the main homestead, the tiny house is surrounded by gum trees teeming with birdlife. Relax on the deck, taking in the sights and sounds of sheep, free-roaming chickens, cows, and alpacas.

A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home is set in one of the best holiday homes in South Australia, with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).

Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny home and surrounding areas. Guests are welcome to wonder through our paddocks and to get up close to sheep, alpacas, and cows. Entering sheds, sheep yards, and pig pens are restricted.
NOTICE TO ALL: Please note that outdoor fire pits and open fires are not permitted during fire season. Furthermore, to prevent the risk of bushfires, smoking is strictly prohibited during this period.

Getting Around:
By car:
- From Adelaide, it takes 2.5 hours and is a distance of 194 kilometers. The nearest towns are Jamestown, which is a 25-minute drive (37 kilometers), and Burra, also a 25-minute drive (35 kilometers).
- A 2WD vehicle is suitable for the trip.
By public transport:
- You can take the Mid-North Passenger Coach from Adelaide to Hallett. Check their website for times and tickets.
- Hallett is located directly between the towns of Burra and Jamestown, each approximately a 30-minute drive in either direction on the highway.
- No additional public transport options are available.
By flight:
- The nearest airport is Adelaide Airport. From there, you can drive 2.5 hours (194 kilometers) to reach Hallett. Alternatively, take the Mid-North Passenger Coach from Adelaide to Hallett.
Other Things to Note:
- Wifi is not available
- Gas BBQ Grill is available
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- No smoking allowed inside the tiny home; only in designated areas
- We ask guests to please dispose of their cigarette butts properly
- Due to the nature of the property, wildlife may be present on the property
- Mobile reception has good signals for Telstra and Optus; and weak signals for the rest
- Don’t forget to close the windows and lock doors when leaving the tiny house/ property
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
