The Lily Pad is located only 7 minutes to Topsail Island. This is a 1 bedroom 1 bath TINY home with a LOW lofted area located in a secluded quiet area.

This is a 1 bedroom 1 bath TINY home with a LOW lofted area located in a secluded quiet area. The long driveway is shared with the homeowners/hosts as we have to pass by the tiny home. When coming to stay at the The Lily Pad you will just need to bring your clothes and food as all the extras are provided (they will be listed below).

The bedroom offers a queen bed with a smart tv and a ceiling fan. The low lofted area offers a queen bed with a smart tv. The loft area is tight quarters so this is a perfect area for kids.

The kitchen offers a 24” Magic Chef stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, air fryer, fully equipped with plates, cups, silverware, pots, pans, etc. A Keurig/coffee maker duo is provided for all the coffee lovers.

The living room offers a modern couch, reclining chair along with a smart tv and ceiling fan.

Bed & bath linens are provided. Mattress protectors along with with an additional mattress pad and quilts/comforters are on both beds. Blankets will be provided as well. A stackable washer & dryer is provided at the end of the hallway.

The bathroom offers a stand up shower with a rain shower head along with a hand held sprayer with small kids kept in mind. A blow dryer is provided.

There is also an enclosed outside shower with hot/cold water. A charcoal grill will be provided with the grilling tools.

This home will accommodate up to 4 people. Some exceptions may be made but you must confirm with host before booking.

We loved this rental house and it was great for someone with PTSD. The setting was quiet and secluded but within minutes of stores, restaurants and beach. We had no problem using the grill and enjoyed sitting on the porch enjoying the sights and sounds of nature.

This was an excellent place to get away from the busyness of the beach. Close enough yet still far enough away. Was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved watching the deer in the mornings and enjoyed the evenings on the porch. We would highly recommend The Lilypad!!

The Perfect Place!
We absolutely loved our stay in 'The Lily Pad'. It is a beautiful little house and tucked away from all other people which was important to us. It is 5 minutes away from a town and about 10 minutes from the beach. We have two boys (6 and 9) and they had a blast with the loft! This place really made our vacation that much better!!

Perfect quiet location!
Location here is perfect; far enough from the hustle and bustle of Surf City, but close enough to enjoy everything that Topsail has to offer. The drive to Surf City is only 10-20 minutes depending on traffic, and grocers are only 5 minutes down the road. This location is down a secluded drive and has no other houses around it, letting you enjoy the peace and quiet. Another perk is that this area is teeming with wildlife; we were able to see all sorts of reptiles and amphibians near the home (don’t worry, they do not go inside!). All around great experience and the hosts are great. This place came fully stocked with small wares, laundry and bathroom supplies, spices, and a whole lot more. We are already talking about another booking!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Lily Pad! The location was perfect!! Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but yet close enough to enjoy the beaches, shops, and eateries! Our daughter and her family live in Hampstead and we decided to find another place to stay during our visit. Our two granddaughters, 13 and 11, were very happy to spend the night in the loft! My best friend and I stayed here for a girl's night with our daughters. The home was so adorable and clean. We found it fully stocked with everything we needed. The entire property was secluded and peaceful and the hosts were easy to contact when we asked questions. It was an amazing little place with lots of character as well as full peace and quiet. Isolated in the woods off of the beaten path, the Lilypad, was an exceptional place to stay! It was a couple minutes to drive into town and a couple minutes away from the beach! It’s truly a great place to stay for a long weekend, for a couple!

LOVED THIS PLACE
This tiny home was wonderful. It was the perfect getaway from the business of the beach traffic but also being super close to everything you may need. Very secluded but also so homey. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay near the beach that has EVERYTHING you need, this is it. Bethany is an excellent host with great communication and the touches in the home cover all of the bases. The home is well equipped from band-aids and aloe to coffee and wi-fi. Every detail of this tiny home is well thought out. We will stay again when we return to the beach.
