Excellent accommodation
Despite a few blips on our arrival day, we were very happy with this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet place near Grandview. Comfy beds, plenty of towels (for bathing and the beach), and lots of supplies if we ever needed them. We only cooked breakfast in the morning, so not much cooking otherwise since fresh fish awaited. The neighborhood is nicely located to enable lots of discovery of what Hampton and surrounding areas have going for them. We managed to hit all of our goals, revisiting places we knew as a young family stationed in Norfolk. Needless to say, we love how Hampton has grown and changed over the years, and this house enabled us to relax and enjoy.

Sweet Cottage
My family absolutely loved staying at this sweet place for 2.5 weeks. Comfortable and well stocked. Great quiet neighborhood with the most friendly neighbors. We took walks after supper which was always enjoyable. Went to the beach and the weather was perfect. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to family and friends. A few of us came to Hampton to see a couple of concerts at the Coliseum. The location was just far enough away from the action to give us the peace and quiet we hoped for. A 10 minute drive brought us right back to the restaurants and excitement and everything we needed. The house had everything we needed. Clean and comfortable.

Great place! Very considerate and helpful owners. 45 min drive to VA Beach and 35 to Busch Gardens. There are several other local beaches and activities within 5-14 min such as Buckrow beach, outlook beach, and Frt Monroe!

Wonderful Place to Stay!
The house was very clean and neat. It was a great location in a safe and quiet neighborhood which really gave me peace of mind since it was me, another mother, and our children on this trip. We stayed here to explore historic Jamestown, Williamsburg and Yorktown which were all just around 30-40 minutes from the house. We also checked out Buckroe Beach which is just a short 10 minute drive. The host was amazing and always available to answer my questions throughout the whole process. Even while we were there she was very responsive in helping us know where the best places to fish were. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Absolutely wonderful stay! We are a large family with kids ranging from babies to teens. The house was perfect. Exceptionally clean. Well stocked. Great location. A great graduation stay
We stayed at this property during my granddaughter’s graduation from Hampton University. Heather was an excellent hostess; she was very responsive, thoughtful and communicative. The property was perfect for our family of five adults. It was cozy, clean and had anything you could think of to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. There were plenty of towels, extra linens, utensils, pots and pans, treats for our yorkies, etc. An Alexa in each bedroom kept us well informed about the weather as the graduation was an outside ceremony. We would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.
