„My friends and I had a great stay. The property was located within good proximity to Halifax Peggy's Cove and other sites we wanted to visit while being quiet away from business. „This was exactly as advertised. It's a basement suite in a new house with private entrance. Clean, private, quiet neighbourhood. We only needed to stay one night as we're on our way to see relatives, but could see staying a few days if I was going to explore the area. No cooking option, but there's a fridge and, if memory serves correctly, a small microwave. They supply coffee (keuig) but no creamer. There is WiFi. Dome was good, but had a hassle with getting electric on, fire alarm kept going off, shower had black mold in it, 2 towels provided for 2 ppl over 2 days. No recycling bins in dome. Had to keep swapping propane tank between heater & dome heater. Ideally, should be one tank for each. Fridge was not plugged in and took a day to get cold. „Loved it! Homely, eccentric, a stunning conversion. We had a great time in this gorgeous space and it was the perfect family base from which to explore and a ‘home’ to return to. My son and I loved hearing an approaching train and sprinting down to the crossing to see them pass. 😆 Jim is delightfully passionate about his place and rightly so, look forward to coming back!“

This was the first time in 31 yrs we could actually swim in a body of water on our anniversary and so glad it was there. „The location is absolutely gorgeous. It served as our "home base" while visiting Nova Scotia. We liked the 'off-the-beaten-path' experience, but it was close enough for us to get around for our various day-trips. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay.“

„We had a perfect time at the Landyacht . We enjoyed the space in the house , the big livingroom with kitchen ( which was very good equipped ) The only recommendation I would do , to make it easier if you want to go swimming in the ocean ( without shoes it is hard to enter the water ) Thanks“

„The house is very well-appointed with everything you could need. Hummingbirds came to the deck feeders throughout our stay. A bald eagle flew past on each day. The spot offers an amazing view of Blomidon. There are short, local hiking trails, and muddy and rocky, beautiful shoreline to explore. Highly recommend.“

„We spent a few days with our dog. The cottage is great and location perfect to visit surrounding. The resort is calm and neirbhours are quiet. Although it is to notice that the houses are very close one to another and they all have their dogs too. I would recommend with no hesitation!“

"Good location. Waterfront can be reached within minutes. Scotia Square a mall can be accessed directly from the hotel. There you have a descent foodcourt. Rooms are well equipped and clean. But out of three elevators, only one was available, the other two broken, during all of the 2 night stay from Monday to Wednesday. "
