„Although the owner was good with communication this property is VERY OLD. They did have a fire going when we got there but it really only heats up the area its in. The rest of the house is very cold, and only a couple electric heaters that do not keep up. The beds slept good and the bedding was clean, but the rest of the house (floors, shelves, ect..) where very dirty.“

„I liked how clean and spacious the place was, the beautiful view of the river. The only drawback was that there was a storm and the electricity went out and they didn't have a generator, but it was something natural, but it was a very pleasant stay.“

„Felt like a home away from home! Nestled in a forest of giants, this was a welcoming place to stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable and cozy, especially after a day spent exploring, and the coffee/tea bar made for easy relaxing mornings. Despite the fact it rained all weekend while we were there, the house was full of natural light from skylights and plenty of windows. This is humble and well maintained property that I’d love to book again for future adventures!“

„If you like to be off the grid, this is a great place to stay. We do this once a year and completely unplug from phones, computers, etc. This place was perfect for exactly that. It's remote and there's nothing better than the sound of a river. We had a total of 4 adults, 3 kids, and our 2 labs. Everyone had a wonderful time. It's a little bit of a walk to the river but once there, it's secluded and water is crystal clear. Thank you, Jim, for allowing us to stay at your place. “

„This place is a hidden gem. A few minutes walk to the Smith River, so close that you can hear it from the porch. Jedediah is a close drive and absolutely incredible. The home itself was perfect for us and our dog. It had everything we could possibly need and the attention to detail in the decor shows the owner knows what they’re doing. We will definitely recommend and hope to be back in the summer.“
