"Our unit was on the ground floor, and the patio was gated which was really nice for the young kids. The unit was very comfortable, warm and adequately equipped. The two bedrooms were separated by a large clean bathroom which had good amenities. We were surprised to find a washer dryer in one of the kitchen cabinets (with laundry powder provided!) It was not possible to watch the sunrise from our patio as the patio faces the carpark, but you can certainly walk out a very short distance to the beach/sea. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to Kaikoura (which I will!)"

"When you arrive at this property you simply don’t want to leave! The cabin has the most special and unique feel to it with quality furnishings and appliances and the bath outside on the deck is spectacular (even in the rain!) We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here and our only regret is we didn’t stay longer! With no tv or wifi it was a great place to get lost in the serenity and away from the hustle and bustle of life and technology. This was one of our highlight stays in our 16 day tour of the South Island NZ. A definite must stay if you are in Kaikoura. Thank you! "

Jo was a fabulous host and a beautiful soul, it was like staying with friends. The gardens are so lush, you can spend a day getting lost through the secret pathways while picking fresh fruit from the trees and soaking in the beauty that surrounds you, from the mountain peaks to the breathtaking views of the ocean…. A true paradise, very hard to leave."
