Historical charm at the River House

The River House is located in Historic Shipoke for a convenient, comfortable stay in the Harrisburg area. Easy access to major commuting routes will get you where you need to go. Or if you're staying local, walk to The John Harris Mansion, River Front Park, local attractions, restaurants, coffee shops, nightlife, Strawberry Square, the beautiful State Capitol Building, and more! Historic charm meets tasteful modern updating in this 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom townhouse. There's room for everyone! PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND COMPLETELY. We want all our guests to make sure the River House is the right place for them. Walk into a nice size living room and dining combo area. A full kitchen is through the dining area overlooking a really cute deck/patio and backyard. This is a historical house with historical steep steps. Please be careful as you go up to the 2nd floor which features a loft/flex area, a bathroom with original claw foot tub, and a bedroom with a closet, desk/workspace, and TV. Steep steps as you head to the 3rd floor which contains a bedroom with a queen size bed, closet, and TV as well as another bedroom with 2 single beds with trundles underneath for extra sleeping space. The basement and the 2nd-floor hall closet are off-limits to guests.
