The Space:
Getaway this summer at our Harwich Cape House-- the perfect home base for an exploring family of up to 6! Just two minutes from the small Mill Pond and trailhead, enjoy your mornings walking your pup around the kettle hole or hiking along the weaving trails and relax in an Adirondack chair on one of two patios. The large yard is a great space for kids and a dog to play! Spend the afternoon on the land exploring Hawknest’s State Park, on the water kayaking and fishing from Muddy Creek all the way to Jack Knife Beach, or getting your saltwater fix at Forest or Cockle Cove Beaches. This home features a modern kitchen--newly renovated with a soft seafoam colored backsplash, crisp white countertops and cabinets, and gleaming Stainless Steel appliances. Enjoy a family meal at the indoor dining table or outside on the back patio (complete with an Outdoor Heater to keep you warm even on those chilly shoulder-season nights!) After dinner, get comfy on the oversized sectional and watch TV, or head into the bonus room to play a competitive board game with the family. Between the kitchen and the dining room, you’ll also find the first of two full bathrooms-- simple, clean, and boasting a beautiful white subway tile shower.

When your eyelids are heavy and it’s time to rest, head upstairs and disperse into the three bedrooms. The first of three bedrooms has a Queen bed, closet, and dresser. Head back towards the stairs and pass the second bedroom on the right and spot the third bedroom across the hall. Both these bedrooms also include classic Cape Cod wicker furnishings, closets, and dressers. Window A/Cs in each bedroom will help keep you cool, even on the hottest days of summer too! Between the two twin bedrooms sits the second full bathroom-- painted stormy blue and featuring a second sparkling white subway tile shower.

Other amenities include WiFi, cable TV, washer/dryer, outdoor shower, gas grill, dog friendly, and sheets and bath towels provided for each guest. Additional nearby attractions include: teeing up at one of the many golf clubs nearby, ordering up fresh seafood from the Kream N’ Kone, or strolling down Main Street Chatham. Nice Place to Stay
House was neat and clean and had nice furnishings. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glassware, and anything you’d need to prepare a meal (except the food, of course). The mattress on the king bed was so comfortable! There are two great little patio areas. It was very difficult to pull out of the driveway because of bushes blocking your view. There is a great walking path, dogs allowed, at the tree farm less than half a mile up the road. However, you need to drive there because it’s a busy road and it’s unsafe to walk. The house has been newly remodeled, however the floors have a slant in certain areas.

Comfortable and well appointed house
The house was ideal for our family and had everything we needed. 3 bedrooms so our family could spread out, washer and dryer, a nice yard and well appointment kitchen. Everything was clean and well laid out. There was a super large flat screen TV to keep us happy during the evening, aircon in all the rooms and parking. We had to be careful when driving out as the property is on a busy road but other than that we were very happy with the house.. Plus we were able to bring our dog.

Great vacation spot!
We loved the house and the quirkiness of the rooms. Just keep an eye on where you are walking because the floors are varying heights as well as the ceilings. It was very clean and everything was great! We suggest more hooks for bath towels. The backyard with the firepit couldn't be used because it was so overgrown. We were looking forward to having family campfires but unfortunately passed. The house was lovely and just be safe pulling out of the driveway onto the blind curve.

This property was perfect for our needs. easily slept 3 adults and 3 kids ages 6, 8, 11. Living space is pretty open and spacious on the first floor. short drive to beaches and town. had a great stay. Driveway does lead onto busy road but just take your time exiting and all is fine !!

House was spacious and very comfortable for 4 of us. There was an extra room we didn’t even touch. Loved the outdoor space (2 tables) to sit outside for morning coffee and dinner. Centrally located and about 10 minutes from Chatham and Freedom Ferry to Nantucket. Grocery stoat close by. Super convenient! We cooked in one night and everything we needed was in the house. Very clean and would recommend to anyone visiting the Cape.

Exactly how it looks in photos! There were so many perks to this home; anything you could need in the kitchen, great living space, bedrooms were a good size and bathrooms were updated. Each bed had a towel and wash cloth, and each bathroom had a roll of toilet paper on the holder and three on the back (I added this as this is what i had questions about) My personal favorite? The outdoor area! Even though it was a decently trafficked area, you still had privacy along the road front with the shrubbery. With two different patio areas; one with a high top table right off the back, and the other off the side of the house deck that meets the yard with a seating area and grill! The side patio gets beautiful sunlight in the morning to enjoy a cup of coffee. Great location as it was 3 minutes to a grocery and ‘spirits’ store and 10 minutes to downtown Chatham.

We had a great stay at this property and proved to be the perfect rental for my family of 4 and dog. The property is clean and has everything you need. Very comfortable with plenty of places for people to sit. Well equipped kitchen. Great grill, outdoor space and outdoor shower. I would 100% recommend this place! The location is great with close proximity to great beaches and downtown Chatham and Harwich. My only minor complaint is the house is located on a very busy street. Be careful when pulling out of the driveway as you are blind to oncoming traffic.

Beautiful home!
This home was beautifully renovated and honestly the cleanest VRBO home I’ve ever stayed at! The property manager was extremely attentive and responsive. The house is central to many beautiful towns and beaches! The only negative is that it is on a fairly busy road. However, there are plenty of shrubs and trees planted to offer privacy. The landscaping is beautiful too! Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic Cape Home!
Everything was fantastic! Booking was easy, communication was great. The owner is responsive and helpful. One of the best houses we have ever rented on the Cape, super clean and nice yard and patio. Excellent location and close to a dog friendly beach as well as many of the best Cape Cod baseball game locations. Highly recommend, we will be back next year!
