The deck is amazing and offered great fishing. We caught so many big fish that my kids are hooked now. This was an amazing vacation that we won't forget. “

We love the three porches, a glass enclosed, screen enclosed, an open one. Lots of room for relaxing and watching deer. You might take your folding chairs for the dock, which is another nice place to sit. We highly recommend this house! “

„Thelma made us feel like we were staying with family. She was so kind and welcoming. My wife and I stayed here with our dog. The cabin was the perfect size for the 3 of us. The bed was super comfortable. Our dog loved being able to sniff around the property. We enjoyed the hot tub too! We felt super safe the whole time. We will definitely stay here again! The location was close to dollar general and brookshires, very convenient. “

„Unfortunately, due to violent storms, we lost power for the majority of our stay. However, the weather was cool enough that we are able to stay and enjoy the housing by flashlight - a unique memory. Through out the stay, the owner/manager was extremely available, helpful and willing to work with us to make the most of a "challenging" situation. “

„We had a wedding Saturday evening and were able to check in hours beforehand to allow us plenty of time to get ready. The children(8,13,14) loved the house, all of the games, the antiques, and the adventures outside. It was like they were able to travel back in time, enjoying some of the small things we were able to when we were younger. „A cute little tiny home tucked away in the trees, easy to find, and a short drive to the Sunset Oaks venue! I would bring some lighting if you’re needing to get ready for an event as the mirror location is a little dark but otherwise we enjoyed our stay. I would definitely stay again if ever in the area. “

„We enjoyed a few of the amenities and the peacefulness of being in the woods! Thankfully the others renting this weekend where quiet because the rentals were so close to each other. We were only able to enjoy the trails the first day before it rained and got muddy. It would be nice if the trails had some gravel on them so you could enjoy them in any weather. It was great to be able to have our dogs with us! Since it was nice if because as close together “

„The house was plenty large enough for our family group and had great communal space for gathering, meals, games. The setting was lovely- water views, playground for kids and pool. The outside spaces needed clean up- we had to clean all outside furniture before using and some of the cushions were not usable. Though we did not opt to have the pool heated we were not expecting it to be dirty and unusable at all. Perhaps the seasonal clean up has not been done? I would also suggest toilets be ...
