„I loved to stay at this place. They advertise being the oldest continuously operating inn in America. The house and the room I was in were very charming. I was impressed with the water pressure in an old house like this. The inn has several dining rooms. I ended up in one where an amateur bluegrass band played that night. Great atmosphere and great food. Breakfast was cooked to order in the morning, no buffet.“

„My friend and I had a great stay in the cabin. It was enough room for the 2 of us. Checking in and out was easy. The hot tub was really nice and clean! Cell service is a little spotty but to be expected in such a great/remote location. Would definitely recommend!“

„Overall we enjoyed our stay, but they apparently have a hornet problem around the cabin. I got stung and had them chase me. The guys staying in the cabin next to us said they had some fly into the fire they had going at night. I had to kill 2 inside the cabin too. Also from the pictures it looks like the river is a lot closer than it actually is. They also expect you to drive your garbage 10 minutes down the road to put it in dumpsters. We only had our car and it was packed plus I’m not putting ...

„We loved this rental. It’s tucked away a little bit so it’s perfect for a peaceful getaway. We were able to spend some time by the fire without any traffic noise or light pollution. It has several sections of the house where we could have some time to ourselves if we wanted. It was very easy to find. We just put the address into our gps and it took us straight there. We also cooked a few meals so the kitchen had enough utensils,pots, pans, cutting boards etc for what we needed. We did have ...

About 45 minutes to the Thorton gap entrance of Shenandoah and the cabin is about 30 minutes down the river itself.
