„We lived in a cute nice house that was unfortunately opposite the schoolbus depot and on the ME - 140. There was heavy trafic on the road from 6 am to 9 pm , because it was on the federal highway. Access was quite easy thanks to a numerical code. Apart from the noise from the street, we really iked the house and the surrounding aera.“

We were pleased to find the fireplace in working order, even though we received a note that it was not working. That and the large kitchen are the natural gathering spots for our family. „Overall amazing stay at this property, very clean and comfortable. About 20-25 minutes away from Sunday River and perfect for a ski weekend. A few minor things we ran into on our stay is that there are plates and bowls for 8, so had to run the dishwasher frequently or hand wash to use plates at both breakfast and dinner. „This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.“

Being a group of French people, we appreciated the well equipped kitchen. The communication with Eric, the property manager, was excellent.“

„House had plenty of room for four of us. Extra large bedroom space on second floor along with first floor bedroom. Very clean. Very quiet with dirt road off main road down to the house by the pond. Close enough to Portland, Freeport, and Lewiston to provide options for things tp do. Weather was on the rainy side during our weekend stay but still had an enjoyable relaxing weekend.
