great getaway with friends

Cozy cabin
Good place for two couples to get away for a few days - for us it was a holiday vacation with friends and we felt the layout of the cabin was conducive to together time as well as separate bedrooms/baths if you wanted more personal space. In warmer months there is a large deck and screened porch for even more space. Appreciated the access to the Fitness Center and nearby hiking trails. Communication with host was excellent.

We had to check in a day early and the owner went out of their way yo get the unit cleaned so we could move in.The house was decorated for Christmas and it was super clean and great living room seating for all.We had all our kids and grandkids there for an early Christmas dinner and it turned out great.This owner knows how to rent a unit and provided everything we needed.I gave them an A

Cozy, well supplied, great hosts!
Myself and two friends went for a two night stay and it couldn't have been better. The hosts were reasonable, practical with all their expectations and they were very responsive and kind during the planning stages and when we arrived. The house was well supplied with everything we needed. Unfortunately there was an outdoor burn ban in place due to drought, but the fire pit looked very comfortable and we even talked about coming back to enjoy it next year. We did light a fire inside and it was lovely. Overall great experience!

Cozy, romantic cabin surrounded by secluded natural harmony. We had the most amazing time staying at this beautiful, cozy cabin. The kitchen had everything that we needed as did the rest of the cabin. Communication was easy and helpful. We look forward to staying here again.

Adventure in Glamping
We like the idea of camping but not walking to the bathroom in the night, the bugs, and all the equipment needed for a quick trip. This was our perfect solution! We were in the middle of the woods with a fire pit, creek, hiking nearby, and bugs. But we had comfy beds, great living spaces, and a fully equipped kitchen. We had bugs too, but you don’t mind them as much when you have a comfortable spot to stay in!

Great house in The Woods
The house was very nice. Host answered all questions very quickly. They have everything you need for cooking and relaxing. The association has 3 pools which were very nice. We purchased a couple guest pass. My husband enjoyed the golf course. I we visited during the heat wave across the country so we were not able to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and fishing in the creek. I highly recommend.

Friends weekend
Had a great time at this property and were able to take advantage of the screened in porch and fireplace. Neighborhood was very nice and checkin was easy. They were very accommodating for the three dogs that also visited the property with us.

Friends Time Away
Our friends and my wife and I like to take the time to get away from our everyday lives. We enjoyed our stay at The Woods. This home is very comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen is very well stocked compared to others that we have rented. The owners are easy to communicate with and get along with and respond in a timely manner. They definitely want you to feel comfortable and enjoy your time there. We loved the screened in deck and of course everything about the house. The beds are comfortable and they have lots of games to play if you decide to stay and relax. It is a quiet neighborhood so we got to see deer. We would not hesitate to return.

This house has everything
We really liked this cozy and comfortable place on a quiet street in The Woods. The location is great. The house is stocked with everything you’d need. There are great outdoor areas: a large screened porch and two large, open decks/porches, which we were unfortunately unable to take advantage of because of the sub-freezing weather. We’ve stayed at MANY houses in The Woods and this was one of the best. It would be perfect for 2 to 4 people, plus pets.

Tranquil getaway in The Woods
We stayed at the cabin over the Thanksgiving holiday. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving meal. The fireplace was cozy and the beds comfy. Jack and Tama were very friendly and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our peaceful retreat and we will be back again!!

perfect for us
My wife and I plus my sister-in-law plus our dog stayed here for 5 nights. We loved the location — what a great lot— bordering the recreation area. Our dog loved it, too. The house was perfect for us three adults and just loved how well supplied it was and all the seasonal decorations. Our only regret is the weather was not warm enough for us to enjoy any of the outdoor seating areas (except for the fire pit). And thanks for the s’mores kit, my English sister-in-law had her first ever s’more!

House was great but cleaning cost not warranted
The house itself is great 5 stars and being in The Woods was good but lacked access to any type of stores nearby. Their gym, pool, and jet pool was great. The problem I have with the arrangement is twofold: 1. There is an expensive charge to cleaning up after leaving, but the agreement requires you to clean up prior to leaving including dumping of trash in a bin away from the property. After doing everything the only thing left was wipe down of the bathroom and towel laundering (I'm surprised we weren't required to do that too). 2. There was very less than one roll of toilet paper and though there were closets for storage none provided backup toilet paper. I contacted the manager regarding it but got no response. Not sure if this is a cleaning job or just poor management but that was difficult with the nearest store 30 minutes away.

Had a great time. The cabin is beautifully appointed. Had absolutely everything you could need from linens and towels, to a fully equipped kitchen, to firewood and a great fire pit setting with Adirondack chairs. Wonderful Time at The Woods
My family and I truly enjoyed our time at The Woods. Jack and Tama clearly take pride in their home. It is beautifully decorated and clean. The kitchen is very well stocked and there were plenty of extra towels and blankets. The screened-in porch is amazing. We enjoyed our morning coffee and eating meals out on it...very peaceful! The fire pit was great for making s'mores and enjoying the cool evenings. Jack and Tama are extremely responsive and gracious hosts. We will definitely be coming back.

Last minute getaway
We enjoyed our stay at the woods. It was so relaxing and family friendly. The cabin has everything you need and I mean everything.Just bring your food and clothes. The owners were the best at communicating. We loved the fire pit and the screened in porch was amazing. The owners left us ingredients to make s’mores and a bottle of wine. That was such a kind jester. Our family feel in love with the cabin right away it was so cozy and homey. There was plenty of room for our family of 6. We can’t wait to return there in the future.
