Rock Cottage is unique; there is nowhere quite like it. Standing completely alone in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and on a solid rock foundation within an acre of privately owned grounds, this 16th century property commands a wonderful elevated view of the Mawgan Creek of the Helford River. It is truly captivating. With no neighbours or owners next door, you have complete privacy throughout your stay.
The large well maintained terraced garden wraps the riverside woodland which borders our land on two sides. From the private jetty and foreshore, where the boat is moored, guests enjoy fishing, rowing, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing and crabbing. For the more adventurous, wild swimming is possible too. The gentle tidal waters ebb and flow bringing a myriad of water birds each time to feed on the shoreline and mudflats. Whatever the season or weather, the ever-changing landscape is mesmerising, but don't take my word for it, holiday here and see for yourself!
