The house is a bungalow style farm house that was moved out here from nearby Cypress, Texas. It was supposedly the farm house of one of the Cypress founding families. The house was probably built in 1930s or 1940s, but was completely remodeled inside in 2017. The exterior received a facelift with new siding in 2021. The common areas are all open and roomy. It has white painted wooden walls and original hardwood floors. It is completely furnished and comfortable. It has a small entry way porch which offers views of the sunset, but the back porch is the width of the house- very nice to watch the sunrise with morning coffee. The pastures have cows and calves to watch too. It is very peaceful and laid back and would be a wonderful artist or author retreat or just a respite from the city and offers plenty of space for kids to play outside and see the stars at night. You will just want to sit all day. :)
Note: There's plenty of space to park a horse trailer. The house also has an RV hookup that can be used.
