„Location was great and more room that we knew what to do with! House was clean and had ample amenities including kitchen utensils, towels, and toiletries. Would definitely recommend for a large group. Back yard is nice and grills are available if needed in the garage.“

„Clean, tidy, apartment in a quiet area. About 20 minutes fast walk to the metro. Bus stops (K2, K6) three to five minutes on foot. I had a problem with the shower curtain - it fell to the floor before anyone touched it. It doesn't change the fact that I recommend this place. The apartment was worth the price I paid.“

„We came to check out the sites and explore Arlington and Washington. This place was great! Everything was exactly as listed and the property was comfortable and reasonably close to all we wanted to see. Hope to stay here again!“

„This home is in a quiet location and within walking distance for coffee, food, etc. Parking was easy. Home had everything you needed to enjoy your stay. It was stocked with water, snacks, toiletries, plenty of towels, paper goods, and the like. Beds were comfy and the ability to control the air was a must; it was definitely cool. „The townhome was very clean and spacious. And the location was close to DC to sightseeing.“

„It was a quick trip to Mt Vernon and we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was adequate, but could use more silverware and plates. Also needs another kitchen towel or two. We had 7 people eating and eating together as a family was very tight at one table. Thank you.“

„This property was what we needed for our large family to trip to the DC area. Kevin was great at communicating just before and during our trip, and we enjoyed having a back deck. The basement, master bedroom, and eating area were all smaller than expected, but it was very nice to have enough spaces for sleeping our teens and to have two full bathrooms in this price range. We liked walking along the greenspace behind the condo just for exercise but also when we went to the Metro.“

„We couldn’t have asked for anything better for our stay. The place was lovely and had everything we needed. The location was perfect (we used the metro for all of our travel and loved how close it was). The kitchen was well equipped (loved the coffee—thank you!). Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Info that might be relevant for larger groups - the king bedroom has a sleeper sofa, but when it’s pulled out, one side of the king bed is not really accessible. We appreciated the ...

„Overall this property is priced right for the area. It is a bit dated and the showers all need an upgrade. If you have trouble climbing stairs, this property will be a challenge! The Mr. Coffee needs replacement since its carafe doesn’t fit properly. If you drive a large vehicle, it may not fit in the garage. But, the AC and water heater work great.“

„Little Oatlands was the perfect spot for a family gathering/vacation. The pool and the garden kept the children who were with us (ages 5 and 2), entertained for hours. The "toy closet" has a generous supply of tennis balls, rackets, plastic baseball bats, and basketballs. The fire pit served us well for roasting marshmallows. The house was spotless upon our arrival. We highly recommend this spot and hope to return next year!“

„We stayed at this location to go to a concert at Eagle Bank Arena. It was only a five minute drive to the venue. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood with easy access to stores for supplies. The basement area was clean and had all that we needed. As a mother traveling with two teenage girls, I felt very safe at this location.“

Laute Klimaanlage (kann kühlen oder heizen), diese kann man aber manuell abschalten. Frühstück könnte von der Auswahl vielfältiger sein, für den Tagesstart aber okay! Ärgerlich zum Schluss: Expedia bewarb Bepreisung in der Buchungsbestätigung wortwörtlich inkl. Steuern, was leider nicht stimmte. Dafür kann die Unterkunft allerdings nichts.“

„Sehr gute, zentrale Lage sowie gepflegte und sichere Umgebung. Die Corner-Suite für Familie mit zwei Kindern unter 14-15 Jahren sehr auskömmlich. Fitnessraum ebenfalls sehr gut, groß, mit vielen modernen Geräten. Das Schwimmbad war hingegen nicht sehr einladend, haben wir deshalb nicht genutzt. Sehr leckere, direkt auf Wunsch gemachte Eierspeisen beim Frühstück. Brot und sonstiges Frühstück hingegen so lala.“

"Great design in combination with a very functional room. Small, but well thought through. All room functions can be controlled via a tablet. Hotel has a nice rooftop and is a 5min walk to L'Enfant Plaza metro, which is one of the major metro intersections in DC."

Great stay, would come back

"Location, interior & exterior of the hotel are amazing. Beds are very comfortable, towels super soft and the room was spacious. The staff was really nice and helpful in general. We would stay again. Two small things that can be easily improved 1. The lady who checked us in was somehow bored to talk...she was barely opening her mouth & she was so quiet and in slow motion, even when we asked her to repeat some stuff. In the end we gave up, went to the room and started piecing the information together. Weird first impression but didnt spoil our stay. 2. Please note that wifi kicks you out after some minutes of inactivity. This meant that our pictures did not upload to cloud over night (risky for travellers, in case something happens with the phone). I understand why potentially a hotel would want to do it, but it kinda feels cheap & limits such basic need as internet."
