„Es gab sehr reichliches, gutes Frühstück nach typisch englischer Art. In der Dusche funktionierte leider das kalte Wasser nicht, so dass man nicht duschen konnte. Denn das heiße Wasser allein war viel zu heiß. Das Fenster klemmte, so dass man es schlecht öffnen konnte.“

„Great place to stay with grwt facilities. Lovely spacious room and easy check in. The only thing was that the check out time was incorrect on Expedia to the actual check out time so had to get out of the room earlier than planned. “

„The Emerald Residence is a good option for a slightly cheaper stay in York, as it's a bus ride from the centre. Buses are regular (Route 7 to the Park & Ride or route 415 to Selby depart from different points in the city centre - route 7 is the one to use from the railway station, but there are no buses early on Sunday morning). „Leider ist das Hotel ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und müsste dringend renoviert werden. Bettwäsche sowie Handtücher hatten teilweise Löcher und auch die Zimmerausstattung ist renovierungsbedürftig. Das Personal war jedoch durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. “
