"The place ist centrally located, has nice personnel and good breakfast. The rooms are small, require rennovation. Both would bei fine, when the price is relatively Low, but the walls were so think and Doors Bad that you would hear everything all night through. The bathroom Doors opened to the inside in a way that i had to squeeze between wall and toilet to Close it and make my way to the toilet. Not reccommendable for more than 1 night."

"Very old hotel, minimum comfort conditions. Good breakfast. Good location. They don't accept cash to pay at check-in, which was very inconvenient for us since we brought all the money for this trip in cash (because of the different currency), and so we needed to use the Swiss card to pay (which means extra taxes) - and I could not see this information when reserving. Lack of information at the reception on small information. "

"This hotel is designed for a short stay for either an early morning flight or a late arrival into Manchester airport. The rooms are small but very clean. Each room has a tv, kettle, air conditioning and free wifi. They also have a shower room on suite. Each room is sound proofed as well.They are practical for an overnight stay. Downstairs is a communal area were you can buy drinks, games are also provided. This communal area is also the breakfast area. Breakfast is continental, providing different types of bread, meats, cheese, fruit, cereals and drinks. Again, perfectly adequate for a short stay. My impression is the hotel was designed to be a grade above a youth hostel, for young budget travellers. The older generation have embraced the concept. While I was there the general age was 40's/50's. I would definitely recommend it, for the price, the location ( short walk from terminal 2) and practicality. "
