The Stratford Inn is themed around the Ashland Shakespeare Festival & the building itself is historical, so it isn't like...super fancy or "modern". It has character. They have a whole cafeteria where they serve breakfast in the morning with lots of tables, chairs, and windows as well as a cute little outdoor patio area for in the summer ...

„The location is convenient to the freeway. The staff was friendly and helpful when I checked in. Our room was clean but overall the room ans hotel feels old and dated. Our room had a musty odor as well. We requested a “dog friendly” room so that may have been the reason for the smell. I did appreciate the ground floor room with slider for easy access to take our dog outside. “
