The Space:
Enjoy a generous one-level floor plan which maintains a perfect balance between private and social spaces. Walk in the front door to a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and microwave leading to a substantial living area that boasts a comfortable 10-seater dining suite. The dining area flows onto a lounge room with 2 large sofas (one of which folds out into a double bed). Younger guests can lounge on a couple of bean bags whilst watching Netflix on the large smart TV or reading some of our complimentary books. Next to the lounge room is a large upper-level deck that overlooks the stunning River Derwent. With a comfortable outdoor dining suite, enjoy dinner with a million-dollar view - there’s even a BBQ!
The home sleeps 9 guests, including three bedrooms and the double-fold out sofa bed in the lounge room. The main bedroom has a king-size bed with the most amazing views of the glistening water. The second bedroom has a double/single bunk bed, paired with a desk and chair as well as a window-view of the garden and river. The third bedroom has a queen ensemble, surrounded by books, and a comfy sofa looking out onto the bay.
Follow the path in the gardens and you can escape right to the edge of the waterfront, where you can soak in the views of the river along the Clarence Foreshore Trail.
There is garage parking for one car, additional space for another as well as free on street parking. Please note the driveway is rather steep. We advise that you drive vehicles out forward-facing.

The Neighborhood:
The neighbourhood of Geilston Bay is a delightfully peaceful area. “The Bay” offers immediate access to a number of amazing walking tracks, both on the waterfront and in the bushland. “The Bay” not only overlooks the peaceful waters of Geilston Bay but is across the street from the Natone Hill bush reserve and offers a private path through the Garden onto the Clarence Foreshore Trail. Geilston Bay is dotted with a large variety of moored yacht. After a full day of sightseeing, sit back with a glass of wine and watch as these lovely crafts bob in the bay. Lindisfarne (Geilston Bay) is perfectly located for quick and easy access to Mona, Richmond, Port Arthur, the Airport and the fabulous East Coast...while only being 12 minutes to Salamanca and the CBD. You’ll have the best of both worlds!
Getting Around:
As you’ll have secure off-street parking, getting around Hobart by car poses no difficulty. For those who would love to discover this lovely area by foot, simply step out of the back garden onto the popular Clarence Walking Trail which follows the shoreline along the Derwent River, or take in the panoramic views from the Natone Hill Circuit. Both of these walks are right on your doorstep. Otherwise, there’s a bus stop positioned conveniently close to the property.
