There was plenty of room for 11 of us (+ dog) and was a mix of modern touches and old world charm highlighting the legacy of the house. And the view of the Hudson was a highlight of our stay. „Our family's stay at Helen and Richie's property for the holidays was perfect. Waking up to views of the lake every morning, watching flocks of birds travel on the water and being surrounded by nature was all we could ask for. The house has all amenities provided in the kitchen, bathrooms etc. Location is convenient near shops, grocery, and restaurants in New Fairfield. The hosts were very responsive in communication and I appreciated them providing everything we needed. “

„The house had room for all of us, spacious and comfortable with modern amenities. We enjoyed the large open kitchen, well equipped for making big meals, and especially loved the walk in pantry with sink, oven and coffee bar. The beds were comfy, the bathrooms deluxe. Large couch and huge TV in living room with cozy gas fireplace for us to gather and relax. Located on a quiet cul de sac, easy to get to local attractions. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.“

„Beautiful modern home with great views over the pond and woods. Super comfortable and many amenities. I really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with pots and pans that you can actually cook with compared to most VRBO's. Only drawback is that the area isn't really walkable. Busy road with minimal shoulder and you can't get down to the pond. We drove to a number of great hikes in the area though. „We had a wonderful stay at the Contemporary Cozy Cottage! Very modern amenities and appliances, and the kitchen had everything we needed!! Nadia always responded promptly, and answered all of my questions. The Cottage is located close to just about everything in the Peekskill, Cortlandt Manor, and Yorktown Heights area. „This adorable cottage attached to the main house was fabulous for my wife and I for 4 nights! It has a little kitchen, space heaters everywhere (us southerners can’t handle the New England winters like we used to!) and was very clean! We have never stayed in an attached rental before and I would say we would be open to exploring more because of our experience! “

„We had a friend group boardgaming weekend and this was perfect for our purposes. The table was large enough for our biggest games and the pool table doubled as a backup playing space. The race cars are a nice touch of whimsy too :-) Our only suggestion would be to replace the oversized, too-low chandelier over the table but really only a minor thing.“

„Enjoyed the Holiday Week with my family! The home is exactly as shown with all the amenities you need. Across the Hudson River from home is a quaint little town called Beacon. Spent a day shopping and dining there, well worth the visit. Train station there will take you right into Manhattan to see New York during the Holidays! Homeowner Sunny was a perfect Hostess making this trip an A! Highly recommend staying here. We hope to do the trip again! “

„The neighborhood was clean, upscale, and beautifully kept. It came with Candlewood Beach access. The second story suite was gorgeous, clean, and well apportioned. The bed was comfortable. The whole house was well maintained and a wonderful,"homey" feel to it. The Hostess was friendly, cheerful, and very accommodating. The house is on the hillside leading to Lake Candlewood. As can be imagined, the views from the windows were outstanding.“

„The cottage was perfect for our weekend trip to visit our son at West Point. A picturesque drive to West Point, the cottage was so cute and was full of thoughtful amenities. Had we had the time to cook, the kitchen was stocked with spices, condiments, and cooking oils to make it easy to do so.
