Overall, we very much enjoyed our short stay. I am originally from the area, and was glad to see a new option available so we could stay in town. The unit we were in was really nice. I liked the style. And the three head shower was great. We had one small issue and the owner was on top of our needs quickly and directly.
I do have some notes. First, my son was exhausted when we arrived, and chose to sleep on the pull-out couch in the back. I wish there were curtains there over the window. Although he seemed too tired to care.
Second, although aesthetically pleasing, the shelves in the kitchen were too high for me to reach the plates, bowls, and mugs. Luckily, glass storage containers were provided in a lower drawer for me to quickly reheat leftovers. [Maybe a small fold-up step stool could be provided. I didnt want to stand on the dining chairs.]
And third, the bedding was over bleached. (The tags said not to bleach them at all.) As a stomach sleeper, it was difficult to fall asleep breathing the bleach in. But the bedding itself was really nice. As were the mattress and pillows.
It felt like I was staying in a sample room in (my favorite store) IKEA.
I enjoyed relaxing on the bed, watching people frequent the ice cream stand across the street. (So many vanilla soft serve cones!!)
The mentions of the noise were accurate. It didnt quiet down outside until about 11:30. And I could definitely hear the people in the other units. And going up and down the stairs outside of our door.
Oh yeah. I didnt expect an elevator, but renters should know there are stairs to bring your luggage up.
Despite my few issues, it was a 5 star stay. And I would highly recommend it if wanting to stay in town.
Thank you Wonder.
