In unserem Chester County Gehöft, bieten wir 2 Schlafzimmer, jedes mit eigenem Bad. Ein Full-Service-Küche und Ess- / Wohnzimmer gibt viele Möglichkeiten. Hausgemachte Marmelade und Brot, Müsli, Bauernhof frische Eier, lokale Milch und viel Obst werden zur Verfügung gestellt oder Ihr Frühstück.
Wir glauben an die frische Luft, so dass wir Ihnen mit einer Vielzahl von Tür-Spiele bieten (Krocket, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball, ect.) Die Gegend ist ideal für Spaziergänge, Wandern und Radfahren.
Ihr Feriendomizil liegt in der bekannten Lancaster-Chester County Amish Bereich. Allerdings bieten wir Ihnen die seltene Erfahrung in der Lage, in die Ruhe des Land zurückzuziehen, wenn Sie weg erhalten möchten.

Schönes Haus in toller Lage
Schöne, große Ferienwohnung, tolle ruhige Lage, Frühstücksgrundaustattung (Eier, Brot, Milch) war vohanden. Betten extrem weich, Fön fehlt, Duschen nicht optimal.

Excellent appartment
We stayed in Elvin's and Dorothy's appartment for 4 nights with three adults. Everything was perfect: The wonderful and calm landscage close to nice olds woods. The appartment was extremely comfortable and so cosy! We very so lucky, when Elvin and Dorothy offered us milk and eggs from their farm and the most delicious bread, which Dorothy made. So: We cannot be more content. We visited the litte villages and towns nearby and Londwood Garden, which is marvilous. If one likes museums, Philadelphia is a must (Fine Arts museum and Barnes Collection; Rodin Museum is nearby).

Nice relaxing stay
This was a wonderful place to stay that is off the beaten path but still close enough to many things. The property is beautiful. There are dogs, chickens, cows, horses and a cat. The host family was so welcoming and friendly. They provided eggs, milk, jam, and bread all homemade or locally sourced. They were delicious!! There were also bottles of juice for the kids. There were toys for the kids to play with as well as a trampoline and swingset. They also loved the jetted bath tub! We had a great time.

We had a wonderful time starting with a vase full of fresh cut flowers. The homemade bread and jam were delicious and the eggs, butter and juice made for a great breakfast. The place was clean and nicely decorated. We’d stay here again.

Getaway Experience
We had such a great time on an amazingly neat farm. The check in was very easy, Dorothy and Elvin were very welcoming and friendly. There was freshly baked bread, milk, eggs, jam and juice along with coffee already in the kitchen. The entire apartment was really neat, two bedrooms, one has jetted tub, and there are two bathrooms, one inside each bedroom. The kids played with all three dogs and the cat, there were two cows nearby and horses as well, with several chickens, all within sight. We enjoyed every minute by the fire pit, played on the trampoline, took naps on the hammock and the two swings. Later on, we played pickleball with Elvin and his son Alex. Thank you Dorothy and Elvin.

Peaceful Getaway
We absolutely loved how beautiful the property is, how clean and refreshing everything was for us, and how sweet it was to spend some time with Tara and Sophie! The jam, bread, milk, and eggs were a blessing. We will be back...and for a longer weekend! We highly recommend.

Our family had an amazing stay in the country surrounded by trees. There’s cows chickens and 2 beautiful dogs you can visit with. The host and their family were very lovely and thoughtful and even invited us to play pickle ball with them. Wonderful stay and we hope to visit again when we’re in the area.

My wife and I stayed with our adult children and had a great time. It's a beautiful, peaceful place and Elvin and Dorothy are wonderful hosts! One highlight was smores by the fire pit. The home made bread and jam was a nice touch, along with farm fresh eggs and milk.

Lovely Setting
A beautifully maintained property on a pristine and secluded location. Some lovely touches from the host (fresh eggs, milk, jam and bread), along with their friendly pets (3 dogs and a cat). Know that this is basically a two bedroom/two bath apartment above an adjoining garage, so in some way you will "part of the family," which has its good points (a helpful and friendly family right next door), and perhaps not as good as with any adjoining units some noise can come through the walls. Still, much better than a hotel, and you will be well cared for and have much bucolic, peaceful scenery to take in.

Pleasant Place
We enjoyed our time together in this pleasant apartment over the garage. Granddaughters enjoyed the giant tub and we all enjoyed the fresh eggs, milk, juice and homemade bread. Very yummy. We could hear noises from the garage but it didn’t bother us too much. The greeter dogs were fun so we appreciated seeing them. Overall the place fit our needs and was comfy to come back to after a long day visiting places.

The worst thing about it? We couldn't stay longer.
Our goal was an overnight stay with peace and quiet, and this fit the bill nicely. The apartment is nicely separated from the main house in a nice rural neighborhood. Pleasant views from all windows; we enjoyed our visits with the dogs, cats and farm animals. The hosts offer some extra special touches that you don't normally find at such rentals. The location is an easy detour off of PA10. We suggest the BBQ/bakery not far down the road. As for us, chances are good we'll be back.

Lovely property
Positives: beautiful property with farm animals to watch, and dog's to play with. Apartment is quaint, and well stocked with utensils, dishes, pans, and coffee supplies. We did have fresh eggs, milk, homemade bread and jam which were delicious (no fruit or granola) having 2 bathrooms was great. Not far from small cities to enjoy restaurants, shops etc. The owners were friendly and welcoming, as well as their son. Plenty of extra pillows, bedding and towels. Beautiful paint scheme, and artwork. As well as many family games and books. Cons: We were not aware that this was an upstairs apartment that is also above a garage. Thus you hear and feel the door when they open and close it. Also, the second room is across the hall with the second bathroom. There is a 3rd door that is locked leading to the owners home. The listing needs to be updated as they did not have a ping ping or pool table. Also, the family lives on the property so we were not able to use the fire pit advertised when we wished, being it was later in the evening. This sleeps 6, because there are twin mattresses under the queen beds. The kitchen however does not seat 6 unless you eat on the couch.

Amish Country Vacation Apartment
Great apartment for a vacation to Amish Country. Lots of day trips in different directions… Approximately a 45 minute drive to Lancaster (cool city!) (stop at the township of Intercourse for shops & restaurants!) , Longwood Gardens (gorgeous; be prepared for a lot of walking!), and Brandywine River Museum (great place!). We definitely recommend the September Farm Cheese restaurant in Honey Brook for coffee, breakfast, and ice cream as it’s a short drive from the apartment! The Long Way Home Grill at the Waynebrook Inn was a short drive for a good dinner (note that it closes at 8pm). The apartment is above the house garage and is very clean. It is essentially two bedrooms each with their own bathroom, and a kitchen in between. I loved the bread, jam, eggs, and milk provided by the hosts. Also, waking up to the chickens and being greeted by Tara the dog in the driveway whenever we left and came back was great! The hosts are friendly and accessible if you need anything! Enjoy your stay here!

Wonderful Stay in Chester County
Elvin and Dorothy are the perfect hosts! They strike the perfect balance between making you feel welcome while still providing privacy. My daughter and niece had a great time playing with their friendly dogs and meeting the new puppies. The property itself was exactly as advertised. It was tastefully decorated, impeccably clean, and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The kitchen was stocked with fresh bread and jam as well as farm fresh eggs and milk, making breakfast a breeze. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return!

Farm LIfe at its best
We thoroughly enjoyed this neat and tidy VRBO rental. Particularly appreciated was that Dorothy, Elvin and family made us feel like family. Also hard to "beat" was the homemade bread, jam and farm fresh milk and eggs. We even had the special treat of their friendly doggies. A great stay and we will be sure to go back when we are in the area again.
