Disappointing first impression, unit appeared to have not been cleaned prior to our arrival (bed was not made and towels all over the unit) Due to our very late arrival we took care of cleaning it up and changing bedding so that we could get to sleep. In the morning I commented to the manager and cleaners were arranged for the early morning. By noon the unit was cleaned how it should have been right from the start. Very pleased with the communication and quick response to our concerns. Wishing our first impression had been better, but after the cleaning was taken care of the unit was great the rest of our time

Great location close to shops, restaurants, and beach
The location of the building was convenient, close to the main street of Honolulu but on a quieter street. Our suite faced the Canal, so it was quieter. The beach, restaurants and stores were only a couple of blocks away. Wonderful view as well. The only drawback was the air conditioner was noisy, so had to turn it off while sleeping. There were a couple of other foibles but they were addressed quickly by the management. Overall, I would recommend this property.

Great location, some issues w/ the unit
Overall stay was fine - the location makes it easy to enjoy a variety of activities on the island. The cons: We had requested an early check-in, but was understandably denied as it was a day-of request and they were cleaning the unit. However, we never received our door code after a long travel day, as they forgot to send it to us. After multiple calls/texts from the front desk and I, we were sent a code an hour after the original time. Once we got into the unit, there were dried eggs on the pans from the past guest and smudges along the bathroom mirror. It’s important to note that most tropical places have bugs, but it was concerning to find multiple baby cockroaches in the bathroom/kitchen.

Great Time In Waikiki
Pros: Superb location. From the balcony you can see the city, the ocean, the canal, and the mountains. It was beautiful. Check-in and check-out instructions were very clear. The people at the front desks were very helpful and kind. I felt very safe and I had everything I needed for a great vacation. Cons: The only real complaint I have is that some of the upholstery and linens were stained (the couch had a few light stains on it, the sheets had black marks on them that looked like burn marks or damage from an old dryer, and the shower curtain had a giant bleach stain on it). These complaints however, did not disrupt my fun in the sun by any means. The view from the balcony annd the location overshadowed any negatives.

Cute unit, great location
Nice view from balcony especially at night. Bonus I got to see Friday fireworks from it. There are just a few little things that would make this unit truly perfect - bathroom could use a refresh like new shower curtain. Mattress obviously has some sort of plastic casing under the sheet which makes it less comfortable. But mostly a solid unit in a safe building. Ate a couple times in the cafe on first floor. Would recommend overall.

Great Location and amenities
stayed 2 weeks, Property as described, nice touch having the kitchen whizz to knock up cocktails, room suited the needs, plenty of space, great views from the lanai, overlooking downtown, Friday night fireworks and sun set, have stayed at Island Colony previously due to location, and pool / spa. Got caught out a little by not reading fine print on bookabatch commission, this should be included in the price :( overall though would recommend this apt.

Perfect Condo close to amenities and beach
Wonderful experience in the condo. Was exactly as described. Loved Waikiki, rented a car from the airport and parked in the attached garage. We could walk to pretty much everything, but wanted to tour the whole island, so rented the car. Did most of our cooking in the unit and used the BBQ’s several times. Washer and Dryers were handy, and the hot tub was a nice way to wind down. Especially liked the Magic Bullet blender for homemade Pina Coladas while relaxing on the balcony. View of the ocean, mountains and skyline was gorgeous. Thank You!

Quick stay for Polynesian Bowl
My wife, daughter, and I stayed here for a few days. My 20 year old daughter said the fouton couch was comfortable enough to sleep on. The bed was comfortable. The room was cozy. Breakfast is available for a decent price downstairs. The view from the lanai was amazing. We paid the $40/night parking but I believe there may be options near to pay less. I would recommend taking a car service to/from the airport and nearby attractions or walking around instead of a rental for the entire stay because parking everywhere is ridiculous. If you are wanting to visit more around the island you can always rent a car for a day.

Great place to stay in Waikiki!
This VRBO was a great option for my wife and I. It has all the things we were wanting. Great view (mountain, city, & beach), nice bathroom, and walking distance to many things. We had a couple minor issues but the host was very responsive and willing to help. Would highly recommend!

Everything you need for an amazing stay in Honolulu
Great place and really good location. Close to food, coffee and shopping. We used the parking here for the majority of our stay which worked great for us (USD$40 for 24hours, come and go as you like). It was also super close to pick up locations for tours when we didn’t have a car. The room is exactly what we required. The kitchen was clean and had all the comforts of home including a coffee machine. The furnishings were comfortable and modern. This room has a deck on the 35th floor providing astonishing views of the city. The hotel building has a beautiful pool and convenient laundromat and store. We would definitely stay here again and hope to do so one day.

Great location and ocean views - Best for 1 or 2 guests
Pluses: Location was within walking distance to everything in Waikiki. The ocean view and size of the deck were great. Well stocked kitchen (no kettle but use a pan to boil water). Nice to have for some lunches and breakfasts. Spacious unit. Minuses: There was a bit of traffic noise even on the 35th floor but that's to be expected in the big city. The couch that folds down to be a bed is very uncomfortable, so I'd say best to only have someone sleeping in the bed. There were some cosmetic issues that if fixed would have made this a 5 star rating: big holes in the bathroom wall where a towel rack should be hanging, peeling laminate on the kitchen shelving, and no dishwasher. Also, there were paint cans, tiles and the vacuum stored in the closet so there wasn't anywhere to put your suitcases, which was tough for 3 people. The dresser also had a few drawers filled with extra blankets/pillows so you couldn't use the drawers. Some drawers didn't open very well. After all is said and done, would probably stay again if the cosmetic issues were fixed.

Perfect stay in waikiki
Location is perfect. Walking distance from everything in waikiki but without the noise and the crowd. The bus stop is very close. The Appartment is clean, has everything you need and having a terrace on 35th floor is a big plus. You don't see the sunset because of a tall building right in front of the sun but the view is wonderful anyway. Especially at night.
